Athyrium Pack Lore [Do Not Post]

Pack Lore:

Here you will find the lore on my pack. Lore will be labled by the Current Leader and the current Breeding Male within the new archs. Ths will be changed if one retires/dies and a new story will begin. The storys will mainly follow those two and occasionally other pack members.

Please note I am not the best at spelling/grammar but I will try my best to make sure everything is ok. This is mainly for fun for you all to read and for me to practice my writing skills. So I hope you enjoy reading about my pack.

The lore written here will work as a book/story. It may be random at times and not follow every single event that happens in my pack. Please no not post on my lore page. If you need me or want to comment about my lore please pm me!

The Story of Ozul & Leor

~Pack introduction~

While walking through unfamiliar territory you stumble upon the scent of a pack. As you walk further into the territory the scent of females is strong, stronger than what you would call your average pack.

Suddenly you hear the sound of howling near you. The howl seems friendly and seems to be more of a formality letting you know their location. You decided that it is best to great this pack as you are in their territory after all.

After a few minutes of walking you are greeted by a female. She seems to be much larger in size than most and gives off a powerful aura as she greats you. "Hello, it seems that you have wandered into our territory. Fear not we are fairly friendly so long as you are as well." She turns around as she talks giving you a glace that says to follow her. You begin to walk into the heart of the pack and wolves are everywhere doing different tasks. The odd thing is you can't seem to spot a male.

She takes notice of your curiosity and begins to speak. "Here in our pack we have mostly strong females. We take pride in the fact that females are powerful fertile beings and thus choose the best to join us. Though we do not hate males, males can also be these things but we only allow the very best to join us, and only the most powerful and beautiful of all the males is allowed to breed." As she says this a wolf catches your eye. The smell of testosterone fills the air and he gains all of the females attention as he walks tword you.

"Hello, I am back from patrol my lady." He says with a smug look telling her of his travels. Once he is done he turns to you. "Another traveler I see." He pauses and then begins to walk away. "Enjoy your stay, but I will warn you don't try anything funny because its not me you have to worry about." He snickers and proceeds into a den out of sight.

A sigh comes out of the females mouth and then she speaks. " Sorry about Leor he is our breeding male. He is one of the best males we have found and produces wonderful pups. He gets to be a bit vain because of this, but trust me he knows his place." You could have swore her face turned into a sinister grin out of the corner of your eye but when you looked over you were met with a kind smile.

"Welcome to Athyrium, feel free to look around but don't try anything funny." She then leaves you where you stand and proceeds into the cave where the Wolf called Leor went into. I guess you should go ahead and look around and get going. It's is not wise to stay in anothers territory for to long and you have your own pack to look after.

Starting a Pack:

~How We Met~

Upon entering a new territory I met a Female wolf with a coat as dark as the night sky. She spoke to me with kindness and taught me the way of how to start a pack of my own. I chose to start my future in the grasslands. I found a male who wanted to start this pack with me out of nowhere. I was very uncertain at first of this male. A lot happened to me as I grew, being looked down upon by male after male. Things were said to put me down. To make me feel like I could never lead a pack. I desided that when I was old enough I would prove all males wrong, and show that females can too lead a pack. They should know that without females their young healthy males would not exsist. Females help keep the world in balance. While male are normally stronger it is not always the case and I want to show the world that. I looked into this wolves eyes and said, " Why do you want to start a pack with me?" His reply was somthing I did not expect though...

"My whole life from the moment I was born I was nothing. I was small at first and my coat is not all that beautiful. I worked hard to get as tall and muscular as I am now but still my looks have never been fit enough for most. Tala said that you would understand how I feel so I desided why not give it a shot. I need to live my own life one not to be judged by others." He gave a small forced laugh as he said the words, but then looked up and gave a large cheeky smile. "Besides don't you want someone as handsome as me in you pack?!" This made me laugh how can a wolf like him, unkempts fur of a dusty color of browns and blacks have so much confidence even after being put down so much in life. His personality is exactly what I need in my pack, and maybe I could help him even more. Who knows.

On our way to our new home I spoke with the wolf and found out his name was Leor. The more we talked the more I realised what a great guy he was, and the more he spoke the more charmed by him I felt. I had to ask, "Hey upon finding my way to Tala I manage to save up some currency, and well I think if you want I would be willing to help you out." I said a bit nervous. I did not want my words to come out as weird or insensitive, but I was greated by the loudest laughter. 

I looked over to find Leor rolling in the grass laughing his head off at what I had said. "What's so funny you big ofe!!!" I yelled my face turning red. "Nothing." He said with a smile wippng the happily tears from his eyes. "It's just your very different than I thought, your really kind you know!" My face felt heated. "I first saw you and thought you were uptight and proper but in all reality you are so much more!" He chuckled with a wide smile. "Whatever just take these and go make youself look nice I can't have you going around looking like that." He laughed and went to the den in our area where the spiritual wolves lived. They take our cones and in return bestow upon us their powers to change our genetics. It is quite odd but a beautiful and well worshiped artform for all packs.

Time passed and he appeared from within the den and my eyes could not help but to stare. His build was the same but he changed. He looks were totally different and when he walked out he had the smuggest face I have ever seen and greated me with, " You like what you see my lady?!" I huffed out of anger and swatted at his face. "You know if you got so much time to talk and do nothing I might as well put you to work!" He looked at me confused as my harsh tone came out of mouth but my face was still flush. "Well I can't just have some lazy male hanging around my pack now can I, so you might as well do some work for me!" He hated the sound of that I could tell as his ears and tail drooped down and I was greated by a over exagerated "Whhhhaaaatttttt?!" I checked and turned and said "Yep your going to be my number one scout, and since you wasted my Gold Cones might as well make you a breeding male too. So extra work for you!" The last part made my face even reder. Its not like he would be my mate or anything. Right. So whats the big deal. Though my thoughts hesitated for a moment as I looked next to me at his figure.

We desided to get settled down in our new home talking with Tala about the ways of pack life and figuring out what we want to do in the future. You know it seemed pike it was going to be a rough start but now with somone by my side it feels like thinsg will get a bit easier. I have the feeling this is the start of some really great things.

Our Home:

~Ozul~

We desided to live in a large area in the grassland. Honestly I prefered as much peace as I could get, though with Leor and the ever growing members of our pack the peace soon left me. Though I can not lie as much as I enjoy the quite the sound of my pack members made me feel at peace. At home.

This were not easy for us when starting up. We had little to food and barely anything to keep us entertained. Luckily Tala helped a bit as we were figuring out our lives together. I even had my first pups with Leor none the less. Sadly they were not to stay with me long they went off to their own packs a little boy and girl. I found out later the boy had died of some cause, but my baby girl lived on and is growing into a fine lady.

I don't think to much about it, or well at least I try not to, as pups will come and go in a pack. I am a leader and am ment to be strong... Having Leor here helps me the most though the comfort of being able to snuggle next to him on some nights fills the hole in my heart and day by day I feel better. I know I will have more pups in this life time and some will stay and others will leave once more. I will become stronger so that way I can lead my pack with pride. O want to be somine they can look up to, somone they can be proud ouf, somone my pups will look up to! I will do my best as a leader and a mother for as long as I lead Athyrium as this is my home!

~Leor~

I have finally begun to live my life. I thought I would be alone and packless forever until I met Tala. She said she knew a wolf who would take me for who I am and I could hardly believe it. When I set my eyes on her she was the most beautiful wolf I had ever seen. Despite the lack of markings on her, what she had blended so well with her golden coat. I wished I had a coat that looked so warm and inviting but I was born with a cool colored base. Brown, to me undesirable and it filled me with pain to see my reflection in pools of water. I luckily becaome quite muscular once my adolescence kicked it and so that helped a bit, but I still felt wrong. I made up for it in confidence though it was false, but only at first. later I became the me I knew I could always be.

When we started our pack Ozul paid to allow my outsides match to what was within me. While it was not needed as she said that I looked great how I was, but to me I needed to change so I went for it, and I am glad I did. I gained a warm coat and bright eyes ans I felt whole. While many are perfect they way they are born, some need change to cope and I was one of those wolves. She allowed me to be confident, for real and little by little I fell more under her spell. So much we had pups together, a family. They were beautiful but nothing could match the beauty of her my mate. While they left us so soon we still had one another, and that was enough for me. No matter how many pups I may have I know that all I need is her by my side to make my life complete. I want to be the foundation that allows her to be the best leader she can be.

When we are alone is the only time she can destress and talk about hee troubles though sometimes she still bottles it up but I don't want to presure her so I just cuddle with her till she falls asleep. I know she tries so hard, being a leader can't be easy. I know nothing about it, but so long as I am alive I will make sure to protect her and all that she has built. I was given a strong body in order to fight for our home. I can't let her or anyone else in our pack do this alone. I don"t know what challanges we may face but this is out home, and I don't plan to go down without a fight!
