Kirra "More horses don't mean much if you can't use them. And more cattle means more money, and fortunately for you, I've got a good bit of experience racking in money. Like I said before; I've got a good horse that I know how to use and she knows her job damn well. I've shot a variety of weapons off this mare, from revolvers to rifles, to a good old bow and arrow. I don't miss my marks." Kirra flicked the ash gathering at the tip of the cigarette off, dark eyes meeting Rock's gaze with a rock (hah) hard gaze, as hard as the iron in her gun. "I know my worth. I'll settle for less, if this job doesn't take long, use it as experience and get back into the scene. But if this ends up proper, and once you see I ain't overselling me or my mare - cause she's as important to this as I am - then I'd rather discuss a decent pay." The interruption from the dark haired woman brings a faint glint to Kirra's eyes, and she tips her head in the lady's direction. "Fair work is fair pay. Kind - and true - words from a stranger make the time more worthwhile, hm?" |

Kirra With the newcomer approaching from behind, it wasn't near as easy for Kirra to react with such calmness as Rock. Zitkala had paused her grazing and the mare's change of focus alerted Kirra to a newcomer in their midst. Despite her initial reaction, she noted Rock's movement as well and so halted part way through. As a result, the revolver in her hand - albeit ready to shoot - simply spun around her fingers with the momentum she'd forced to a stop. It wasn't unlike a hawk, diving for their prey but pulling away at last second - a stroke of mercy. "Darlin', we ain't really got all night. I don't want to be wasting your time, but more importantly, I ain't wasting my own. I'm guessing this here behind me ain't an enemy, cause you nor anyone else is shootin' so I'll say you can keep talking. Fairs fair?" |

Sorren Sorren's own hand had slipped to her pistol as soon as Kirra started moving to shoot, but with a soft huff, her grip on the gun loosened and she let it settle in her satchel again. "Sure ain't gettin' paid if you shoot Wren" Sorren mumbled, looking back at her, tipping her hat in greeting. |

Wren flipped the reigns over Misty's head to give her some space to eat or do something else. Then she side stepped a bit loosely tying misty to something and standing to the side just to listen. |

Kirra A slightly cocky grin spills across Kirra's lips as she glances to the dark-haired woman again and then to the newly-introduced Wren. "Apologies love, wasn't sure if you were a friend or not. 'Sides, least I'm willing to be protecting y'all, hm?" She sent a wink towards the still-unnamed dark-haired woman, then looked back to Rock, awaiting a response. |
