Returning after a long hiatus

Returning after a long hiatus

Hi there! I'm Mockingdeath, I've been a member for 4 years. I took a very long hiatus shortly after I joined, it looks like a lot has changed! I don't remember much about the game, so I'm basically starting at square one. If someone could catch me up, that'd be great! Tips and tricks are very much welcomed as well ^^

Here's couple questions that I'm really hoping to get answers for rather soon (I'm so lost on basically everything though):
  • Is there's a way to do a "Feed All/Play All" action to keep my pack happy?
  • What are some sought after colorations/markings?
  • What are some good ways to level up my wolves fairly quickly?
  • I didn't see anything in the Code of Conduct about coding posts other than bright colors that don't contrast the website's background. I'm hoping adding backgrounds is okay?

Again, any help is greatly appreciated :) I do hope coding posts is okay as well.

Hullo Mockingdeath! There are a lot of things to catch up on, so much has been added to the game. My first thing would be to check out the Grouse House Wiki. It's a community-made wiki for all kinds of information about Wolvden, since the official wiki is pretty bad.
I also have some answers to your questions!
1. Yes, there is. If you go to the 'Grove' page at the top of your screen, there is a 'Feed All/Play All' option. If you purchase this (uses GC), you can find the area to feed/play all at the bottom of your den page.
2. Hmm, usually newer markings are the most sought-after. Recently they added iridium and lily markings, which are both combo marking colors. Some marking types like vixen points, sakiz mask, whitetail spoits, arapawa coat, wolverine, and soay unders are also new. Some other markings people like are auburn (combo color), cougar (comes from raffle studs), and really any combo/hard-to-get marking (usually these markings are t2, t6, or t8 markings if that makes things easier lol).
3. Depends on what your goal is. Hunters, just send out 10 hunts a day, preferably in harder biomes (although don't risk your food supply if you are low on food just for some extra exp). Herbalists you can craft meds and forage of course, but you can also do things like let your pack get sick and then diagnose them all for a lot of exp. Scouts you mainly have to remember when they regen energy to scout. If you have all biomes unlocked, you need full energy to rescout areas for exp, two random amusement items, and a very small chance at getting an eye applicator recipe. If you need to unlock biomes still, scouting at 60% energy or more will help you to unlock that biome and will also give exp. (Btw, for unlocking glacier/rainforest, you need 101 wisdom on your scout for glacier, and 101 strength on your scout for rainforest. You only need those stats to unlock the biome, but once it's unlocked your wolf's stats no longer matter.) Pupsitters don't really earn much exp, unless you have 10 puppies for each pupsitter at all times. And lastly for leads, battle higher level enemies and do your daily snake quests for exp.
4. Hmm, are you talking about editing your profile/den page (CSS) or editing forum posts (HTML)? Either way there is nothing against making your forum post or den/profile page fancy. You can look at my den/profile and my forum threads for example, I like doing them fancy :>.

Hope this helped some! If you have more questions feel free to ask, and I will answer to the best of my abilities <3.

Thank you so much Vamp's! This was a huge help! I'll read up on the Grouse House Wiki and implement all you recommended for the exp for the wolves ^^ The marking/base information is very helpful! I'm definitely going to have to looking into them :D

As far as the coding part, all of the above xD I love having fancy/nice forum posts and den/profile pages :D Though, it seemed like the coding I had didn't want to work. It kept saying I needed at least 10 characters in order to post. I have a little over 1,800 characters I really appreciate such a fast response!

Edit: I was definitely thinking the "Grove" was somewhere in the crossroads before you replied lol

The character limit only counts things that are not code! You have to put in dummy text somewhere for it to work.

Also make sure there's no accidental opening in your code, otherwise it will count the regular text as code and you won't be able to post. I have done this before XD, so double-check what you have.

And ofc <3! Happy to help. If you have any more questions again feel free to ask, and my DMs are open too if you want to talk that way.
