She sighed, "As I was about to say. Why does this upset you, SunPaw? I know what your father did, I know why that must upset you, I say this because I knew that information was not mine to share. It was your mother's. No cat has the right to even utter the words of what he has done. It was EXTREMELY wrong of SleekStar to tell you, it wasn't his story to say, and it wasn't the time to say it. Not to a child, SunPaw, not a child. And an apology from him would be empty, I can promise that. That information wasn't important for you to learn. But, why does not being clanborn bother you?" |

"I thought I had ancestors here, I thought I could make them proud and live up to their legacy." She started her mew cracking. "I thought that when it would be my time to join Starclan I could meet my grandparents, my father and earlier Echoclan cats that share my blood. Now to learn that none of that can happen and i'm just an outsider who shares no relations to this clan hurts. I thought I was a part of something and it turns out i'm not. I know it sounds childish but.." She finished as tears leaked down her cheeks and splashed onto the floor below. |

"Come here, sweet child." She frowned, putting a paw and her tail on the apprentices shoulder, "When you go to starclan, you will see ancestors. You will see cats that may seem younger than you, but truly old as time itself. You will see ancestors, and while not your own, you will make them proud. Proud that you are who you are, and proud that you are an EchoClan cat, blood or not. And if they aren't, then they aren't truly a starclan cat, may they strike me down for that." She chuckled softly. "You don't need to make anyone proud, SunPaw. Because they are already filled with pride to know that you are such a successful, wonderful young shecat. Your feelings will never be childish to me, all feelings should be expressed." |

"Thank you FrozenBlaze." She meowed, her mind already swirling the commanders words in her head. She uncurled herself and padded over to the orange torbie warrior and nuzzled under her chin, a purr already erupting from her throat. Gratitude and love for her clanmates overtaking her sadness. "There's something that I don't understand FrozenBlaze." She mewed, now looking up at her with large amber eyes. Lionstorm "Of course." He smiled at the young tom and beckoned him over with his tail. |

"That is true." Lionstorm started with a nod of his head. "You know there are other ways to connect with someone. It doesn't all have to be about tragedy and problems. A simple connection could start by asking how their dayor training is going or an invite for a hunt. I know that you're trying to connect with your clanmates but springing that on a young apprentice barely out of the nursery is not the way to do it." He mewed fixing Sleekstar with a stern look, though his tone was gentler. Sunpaw "Why would my father do that? I mean, your mate is supposed to be the love of your life, right?. Why would he hurt her? Especially when she has kits. I don't understand." She mewed her voice puzzled and small. |
