They were a near apprentice, being a kit of 5 moons. Cursedkit had a black, fluffy pelt, and wore berries as decoration. Now, she wears nightshade and death berries instead of the herbs she once did. The kit's odd markings make it look like Cursedkit is wearing a broken skull on their face. The tale goes as follows... Cursedkit often lured the other kits to a nightshade berry bush, knowing well that they were deadly. No cat suspected the innocent kit to be the killer. Cursedkit ended up being killed by a rouge fox, dragging them to the Dark Forest. It is said, if a kit wanders a bit too far into the shadows, the sweet voice of Cursedkit may lead them right to a nightshade berry bush... |

They were a young warrior, with chestnut tabby swirls on white-ginger fur and large green eyes. His body was thin and short, and his gait was so light he barely left prints on fallen snow. The tale goes as follows...Bugstep had barely graduated from his apprenticeship when his clan ran out of food. Prey was sparse and his clan had become desperate. A plan was devised to raid nearby clans for food- and he was chosen to be a part of it. At the neighboring clan, he made a rash decision to go after their medicine cat so injured warriors couldn't be tended to. The two fought, and Bugstep pinned his enemy with a bite to the throat. By the time Bugstep had realized what he had done, it was too late. He had pierced the old Tom too deeply and had killed him. Bugstep was too distracted by this accident to notice the medicine cat apprentice racing towards him. She attacked him viciously, blinded by her grief, and Bugstep fell as well. It is said that on moonless nights, Bugstep's small silhouette can be seen cowering in the distance, his chest still dripping from the mortal wound that killed him. |

They were a medicine cat. She was rather small. Her short fur was black and her eyes were green. Her body was littered with scars, especially prominent was the one on her right hind leg. It had been shattered and she limped on it when she was alive. Her left eye was missing and her left ear ripped. Her pelt was decorated with rosemary. The tale goes as follows... Houndheart's, then Houndpaw, take began shortly after she and her sister Wolfpaw were apprenticed. They were out hunting with their mentors and they left them out of their sight for a moment too long. The two apprentices were attacked by a dog. Everything went so fast that Houndpaw couldn't do anything before the dog killed her sister and maimed her. She only survived barely and was left with a permanent limp. Without consulting her prior it was decided that Houndpaw would become a medicine cat. She wasn't really happy about that, but she didn't complain. She blamed herself for the death of her sister, after all her parents always told her it was her fault, so it must be true. Eventually she fell in love with Rabbitwhisker who was a bit older than her and already a warrior. They became mates and she was happy for a while, but after a short while he showed his true colours and turned out to be abusive. As time passed she found out that he already had a mate, because his mate became pregnant. At this point she had wanted to break up with him for quite a while, but didn't exactly know how. When she told him it was over, he wouldn't accept it. Only a few days after that Rabbitwhisker's hunting patrol encountered a fox and he was badly injured. She saw her chance then. At first she was hesitant, but didn't he deserve to die for what he did? So she poisoned him. His brother was suspicious, but he trusted his medicine cats and didn't pursue his suspicions. Time passed and Houndpaw received her full name Houndheart. Eventually another opportunity presented itself. Her father fell ill and she decided to poison, for he deserved to die too for how he treated his only surviving daughter. Once again Rabbitwhisker's brother was suspicious and this time her father wasn't quite ill enough to diffuse his suspicions. He confronted her while she was out gathering herbs alone and she saw no other way than to confess. He killed her in a fit of rage. It is said that Houndheart still roams the earth on moonless nights, looking for revenge… |

They were a medicine cat apprentice, a joyful one. They had short fur, and a large body. Withered branches cover their scars, and often plague their mind with doubt. They have a dark 'blue' pelt, with lighter 'blue' markings. The tale goes as follows... Thornpaw killed Bugstep, clouded with grief. The medicine cat was dead. Their mentor was dead! As an act of revenge, to avenge the now dead medicine cat, the apprentice lured any who looked down on the tom to a brutal and gory death. A snake pit. They would watch, cold hatred dripping from their gaze. Nothing could shake the thoughts of revenge from Thornpaw's mind. Once they were caught in that very same snake pit they killed many with, the apprentice realised how much agony they had put them through. It is said that Thornpaw now lurks in the shadows of medicine cat dens, watching and waiting to kill any who wrong a cat of peace and herbs... |

They were a beloved Queen of her clan. Her fur was long and cascaded in grey and white waves down her back. Her green eyes were as round as her gentle, inquisitive face. She was beautiful. The tale goes as follows... Minnowtail was a warrior whose greatest wish was to be a mother. She wanted nothing more than to settle down and raise kits for her clan. When she gave birth, an illness swept the camp and took her litter. She was devastated. Desperately, she turned her attention to a fellow Queen and offered to help raise her kits. These kits became ill and passed as well. Things took a turn for the worse when Minnowtail left camp for several days, returning to camp with scars down her flank and two kits in her wake. She had stolen them from a neighboring clan. Her clan was horrified by her actions. They made the decision to return the kits and exile her to the woods. She died shortly after, taken by the elements and her persistent respiratory illness. Minnowtail wanders frequently, looking for something to fill the mourning pain in her body. As she walks, her fluffy tail drags upon the ground and drags debris behind her. She searches for family that cannot be taken from her… |

They were a sharp-minded apprentice of his clan. His short fur was black, with many gray markings splotched across his pelt, and piercing yellow eyes. The tale goes as follows... Thistlepaw never felt that he really fit in with his clan. His mother had brought him to the clan as a kit, and he had been happy--a playful, adventurous, happy kit. But then, when Thistlekit had finally got a glimpse of the real world, he finally noticed the glares and whispers. The mocking and scorn as they muttered about 'a little lost kittypet'. He could feel a deep sadness piercing his heart--even as a kit. But even more than that, he felt rage. He felt his blood boil. And when he became an apprentice, things only got worse. And the day his mother passed, all he could feel was grief. He wanted revenge. He needed it. "Hey, kittypet!" the apprentice whispered in his ear. "You should go back to your twolegs. Only real warriors belong here. Your kittypet mother was weak," he taunted, his eyes glittering as he glared at Thistlepaw. And that was it. All Thistlepaw could see was red as he unsheathed his claws. He could barely feel them ripping on the apprentice's pelt as he sunk them deep into his fur. Only when the apprentice lay limp beneath him, had he realized what he had done. His clanmates may have exiled him, but the Dark forest cats welcomed him with open paws. |
