Lurking Behind The Stars || Open onsite RP || Warrior Cats Dark Forest RP

Lurking Behind The Stars is a warrior cats Dark Forest RP! I have seen so many with the normal Clans, and yes, I have made a few. But, why shouldn't the dead get some attention? Especially those who died bringing others down with them.

Evil cats, anti-villains, accidental villains, and so on. They are so fun to play, especially when they chat with others like them! That's why I made this RP.

This is the RP. Keep it to that, please.

While ranks do not affect the level of respect in the Dark Forest, many like to keep their rank. What does command respect, is power.

--CursedKit--

The she-kit was wandering around the shadows of the Corrupted Nursery, attempting to find something dangerous. The berries in her fur were permanently fresh, never rotting or wilting. That's just how things worked. Nothing naturally dangerous could die.

They were in the medicine cat den, a clearing in the Dark Forest covered by wilted trees, thorns, brambles and herbs. Catching sight of Houndheart, they walked over, silent. The medicine apprentice was selectively mute, after all. Doubt always sparked in their mind, the branches on the cat's body thriving if it gets negative enough.

Bugstep

Bugstep waited at the edge of clan camp, flicking his tail in irritation. He had not met any cats of his own clan yet, but why were they here? He had not known the Dark Forest to be a peaceful place since his death, but it was made much worse by the ease of which his killer had arrived and settled immediately into their earthly role as medicine cat. Starclan itself must have laughed as they turned their young soul away. Bugstep imagined this was just further punishment for killing their mentor- to be haunted by his killer not just in his thoughts.
His anxiety manifested in a familiar ripping sensation on his chest, as his old wound threatened to become physical again. He licked his chest idly to calm down.

Looking around, they saw the cat they had killed fist. The branches on their face began to bloom wilted leaves, and the apprentice quickly turned away to calm down. The guilt only grew. If only the past had been different, neither of them would be here.

Houndheart

She was lying in the medicine cat den, her head resting on her paws and her eyes half closed. Oh, how she hated this wretched place. There was nothing that she wished more than to be with Wolfpaw in Starclan. But then again she deserved it to be here. It's her fault her sister and she killed two cats. With a sigh she stood and left the den. On her way out she passed by Thornpaw and nodded towards them.

(Them! Thorn is non-binary)

--ThornPaw--

They nodded back, the only thing showing the guilt growing was the growth of wilted and dead leaves on the branches that covered the apprentice's scars.

Bugstep

Bugstep jumped by a rattling of sticks behind him. He turned and saw the wraithlike form of a solemn cat he often saw wandering far enough away to ignore. She was covered in the debris of the Dark Forest, sticks woven into beautiful tangles of grey fur. The mourning cat did not so much as acknowledge him and she tugged her body close enough that her tail ran across his unmoving paws. He watched her go. It was only once she was several paces ahead that the rattling sound came from her breathing, not from the sticks that weighed her down.

Minnowtail

The she-cat had been wandering so randomly in the dark forest that she didn't realize she was inside a clan camp until the ground became even underneath her. She shook her body without care and released a frankly impressive amount of tree detritus into the clearing. A sneeze shook her so hard she sat down, and she allowed herself a moment to look around.
"A nursery…?" She chirped in surprise. Were kits here?? What a horrible place for them to end up. She could not imagine any kits here and imagined the structure had been erected only in memory of traditional clan homes. Still, she trotted up to the entrance and looked inside.
Minnowtail had expected the enclosure to be dark and empty. Instead, the darkest thing in the nursery was a fluffy black kitten. She had not seen a kit in so long. Her ears perked forward and she tried a rattling trill to get their attention without starting them.

--CursedKit--

The she-kit was removing anything dangerous from the nursery walls, not wanting to accidentally hurt herself. There was a pile in the middle of the den, containing berries, brambles, thorns, and other sharp objects. The kit didn't notice the queen, but her skull-like markings were visible once the she-cat had shifted to check the other side of the nursery.

(I don't want to go too far without Nightfox, so I might wait a moment after this reply!)

Minnowtail

Minnowtail blinked happily as she watched the kit work. Oh! What a little hard worker!! How cute! The skull-like markings were so tiny it caused a purr to rumble in her chest. So independent and strong and maybe a little intimidating. She would grow into a wonderful cat-

Oh.

No, never mind. Minnowtail shook that thought from her head. Instead of dwelling on the facts, she entered the nursery slowly, as not to scare the kit.
"Hello," She blinked at her, "do you want some help?"
