Thistlepaw could feel slight fury radiating off of his fur. He had been padding through the Dark Forest for a few minutes, his eyes darting around as he searched for someone in particular. "Beepaw," he called, his fur bristling. "I know you're here, you little rat! After the way you treated me, you have to be," his voice lowered. |

To Cursedkit Minnowtail worked with Cursedkit until the walls didn't grab at her long fur or the ground hurt her paws to walk on. The Dark Forest didn't offer much that could be described as "cozy," but the softer leaves and grasses and tufts of fur left for the bedding were just fine. This wasn't red water and angry hisses and snakes. This was… a place to rest. "It almost looks like my old clan's nursery." Minnowtail remarked proudly as it came together. She knew the thorns would still grow and they'd have to work to keep it nice, but it was nice. It was a fine place to stay, for now. |

"You should see the warriors' den. It's a mess!" The she-kit joked, beginning to bring the thorns and brambles out of the den. |

To Cursedkit "Well! They should know better. Maybe we should head there next." Minnowtail's purr was halted by the fact that she didn't know anyone else in this camp. She couldn't remember if she had passed anyone or not on the way in- and even then, she had been able to make her miserable way to the nursery without being attacked. Perhaps Dark Forest cats didn't care about protecting their home. "Actually, Cursedkit," the Queen started, helping the kit move the dangerous objects from their bed, "What sort of clan do you belong to here?" |

Hearing Thistlepaw's distant calls Bugstep sunk to the ground at his vigil spot and listened as some beast yowled through the woods looking for some "Beepaw." It had not been terribly long before his death that he had once been "Bugpaw," and the similarities of the name made him worried he had someone other than Thornpaw to avoid. He straightened up at the realization that he was not being hunted, though his body did not relax. |

Eventually the former medicine cat decided to leave the camp and go… somewhere. She didn't exactly know where she wanted to go, but she needed to distract herself from her thoughts for a little while. She was walking through the dark forest for a little while now until she reached the lake of blood and noticed Thornpaw talking with a new arrival. She decided to stay and observe them for a while. She didn't exactly stay out of sight, but made no effort to make her presence known. She scoffed slightly at the mention of love. In her experience love just isn't worth, all it brings is pain. Not the she deserves to be loved anyway. |
