Pretty much done with battling :/ getting really tired of having to use healing salves and basically wasting them. I really wanted to try for the new applicators but it’s seemingly impossible for no reason. Please please PLEASE fix the rng in battling! It’s so frustrating how random each battle is, how useless “lucky” feet are, and how even winning battles isn’t worth it. No longer going to level my leads (at least not too deliberately) and just take advantage of scouting for heirs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

Yeah. I must’ve encountered and battled 50+ foxes since the release and still haven’t gotten so much as a single drop! Even battling foxes in my level range have given me nothing. I’m starting to become really frustrated as encountering, battling and winning said battle is hard enough as it is. I really want to like this game, but the RNG simply put is awful. I literally cannot keep up with the people who can afford to pay when single ingredients go for 600 SC-1000 SC and up in the trading center. I’m not going to stop playing anytime soon as I want to see if there is improvement, but overall, my endurance and joy is waning. I just can’t make progress. :( |

The Pay to Win elements combined with poor RNG has resulted in a market literally worthless except to those that were literally LUCKY enough to either have funds to invest or get the rare items folk buy for big tags. Yknow, I don't really mind rare things being hard to get by any means. But I cannot be convinced it isn't a issue when there's so many of us not getting a THING from ANY foxes we battle and others getting what's practically common drops for the same items. I really love this game and don't want to stop playing, but the obvious lack of balance for average players is INSANE. It's simply not workable and will be the downfall of Wolvden, in my honest opinion. The fox addition has only made it a more glaring issue for me. |

My level 18 wolf lost a battle against a level 1 fox last night. :/ "Lost a battle against a level 1 Gray Fox. Total energy used: 18. New HP after fight: 0. 2020-12-22 00:40:27" I'm finding it very difficult to find foxes 18+ to try to get trophies. (I've never found a trophy on a creature lower level than my wolf is.) |

Feeling the strain again as I'm looking for marine animals for this battle quest. I'm through my second elapsed day on it and have only encountered 1 marine animal. I could probably make the SC I get from completing the quest by selling the food items I've gotten from all these tundra encounters. 4x seal pups, 7x fish, 4x seagulls, 5x muskox calves, 2x walrus pups, and gods knows how many crab legs since I used most of them to feed my pack this morning. |

Update: funnily enough I finally found the marine animal I needed. Downside: I had like, 0 energy. But took the fight anyway because I did not want to go hours between finding the next time. And then just barely won because I inflicted bleed first. Fun. It'd be really nice if I could actually find what I need for some quests when I actually have the energy to fight them. I feel like I often run into more enemies to fight the lower my energy becomes. |

I absolutely agree! Stats have almost don't have any importance in battling and battling is so random as, as specified a level 13 can lose against a level one. I honestly only battle for trophies as I think they look really nice. |

Anyone else notice battling has been less impossible in the last 24ish hours or have I just been having lucky RNG rolls? I've been more able to reliably beat things 5 levels lower than my lead without having to use a lucky foot each time and even hold my own reasonably well against things close to his level unless they get an early bleed. Honestly it's been nice if they did make a quiet tweak/pending update because it is more in line with what I would expect, that low-level enemies are weaker and high level ones are stronger rather than complete chaos. |
