Sage eyes him with mild suspicion staying beside plush and glancing around the room looking mildly,scared? why it look so much like a hospital? she thought side stepping so she was literally pressed against plushes leg her tail swishing closer to her side looking rather uncomfortable.
Plush pauses, looking down at Sage. "Come on, Leaf couldn't hurt anyone. Trust me, his attack is like getting bit by a baby. He's a herbivore." She kneels down, offering comfort in the show of pets. While Leaf practically throws himself at the wounds, just simple "hitting" them as they healed. It was weird, but his hits healed and no one was gonna question it, not when they were others that could do it as well. "See, barely hurts." Plush smiles. Though Mother was ready to act, just in case Sage snapped at Leaf, she was ready to get in and cover the poor man, he was small and weak, a few of her hits could probably kill him quickly.
Sage pinned her ears slightly but didn't try and bite him,for once.She made a huffing sound still deeply uncomfortable with literally every bit of this situation.She looked up at plush for a moment possibly debating if she wanted to just,turn and bolt from at least this room.But ironically she stayed not moving away from plush and giving everyone and everything minus plush suspicious looks.
Leaf keeps going, it was taking a while but he was making sure every little bit was healed up and good. Mother watched Sage and Plush, giving Plush a knowing look. Plush pauses, seeing her look. Her eyes narrow at Mother, silently telling her to shut up. Mother huffs a small laugh, gaining the attention of Leaf. But she nods, gesturing for him to continue, and he does, without question or hesitation.
my God I'm FINE can he STOP? she thought with mild annoyance almost hissing at him to go away but shut her mouth glancing at plush.you are SO lucky she mentally grumbled glancing over at mother is she amused by this? and people call ME rude
Leaf soon stops. He glides off, grabbing a small chuck of meat before returning to Sage, offering it to her before flying off to a ledge in the room, sitting down like a 2 year old would, legs spread with hands between, feet moving side to side. Mother rolled her eyes from Leaf's actions, though any sort of movement was hard to see from her. Plush laughs a little. "A offering for being so well behaved and not tearing the poor man apart"
finally! she thought with a quiet huff.nowwww can I leave? wait do I wanna leave? she mused glancing at plush and sniffing the meat but not eating it,cus you never know,shed been poisoned before,repeatedly actually,sucked,alot.She tilted her head up at plush again.
"It's not poisoned. If it was, half of us would be dead, including me." Plush shrugged. She picked up the meat, offering it to Sage. "Come on. When did you last eat?" Mother pauses, her gaze moving to Leaf before moving to the person who now stood in the doorway, the person looked like Mother, though they were smaller and more purple than her. "Hyacinth?" The person, now known as Hyacinth, smiles. He looks between Sage and Plush before looking back at Mother. "Crypt has gone back to tease Sai and now Zaman is trying to tear him apart-" He speaks, nervous. Mother nods, walking over to Hyacinth. "Plush. Sage can stay over if she wants. Just make sure no one gets hurt" After seeing a nod from Plush, she leaves, letting Hyacinth follow behind like a lost dog
Sage shifted having to legitimately think about that. That is a good question,when did I eat last? she thought.bruh have I not eaten all week!? Oh wait no I had a candy bar,that counts she nodded to herself.well now she was getting distracted again,hm,didddd she trust plush? After a few more seconds of hesitation she took the meat very carefully and then inhaled it hm,cow? Maybe deer? Gives more of a cow taste.
"Tastes good doesn't it? It's cow with a hint of herbs. Healthy and tasty" Plush smiles, standing up. Leaf watched them, he speaks up, though his voice was quiet, like a whisper. "New import from Dart.." Plush nods towards Leaf. "A new batch?" Leaf nods before curling up into a small ball, tail hitting his head. Plush smiles, looking back down towards Sage. "Why don't we go meet the others?"
