Whisper tilted her head following after a moment while also looking around like something was gonna randomly appear and snatch her up. That did actually happen once or twice.
Rex looks back at Whisper with a slight hiss. "Ain't nothing gonna snatch you up. Drama queen much." She mumbles the last two herself, though she didn't actually care if Whisper heard her
"Says the one who's never been snatched up!" She snapped back then shut her mouth and her ears dropped like she was severely disappointed in herself for simply defending herself. Yea she didn't speak again after that just went silent
"I get left alone, because I ain't a house-cat!" Rex almost smiles, noticing Whisper's actions. "Oh come on, cheer up." She rolls her ears, tail swaying
"im n- maybe part house cat" she muttered pinning her ears and climbing higher in the trees almost fully out of sight mostly so she could check the sky. Sure she could shift to human and go unworried but she didnt really, like her human form, so yea.
"Part house cat is a house cat" She huffs as she flops down onto the ground, having walked into a small clearing. Her tails swayed behind her while her ears flop down onto her head
whisper didn't reply just stayed perched in a tree, her gaze scanned the clearing either ignoring or not paying attention to her for the moment. She just had a habit of staring around, good habit in her opinion, always aware of danger.
"dunno" she replied after a second then re focused on Rex "oh.. I'm Whisper" she replied simply holding eye contact for a moment before going back to her scanning around.
