Rex shrugs, turning back and continuing to walk. Where was she going? Who knows, whatever had her attention had her walking. She looks down at Whisper. "You gonna stay like that?"
"As a cat? Yes" she replied simply continuing on down a darker street. A few little kids saw whisper and went "awww such a cute cat! And it's trained to walk with?" Giggling about obedience in cats or something like that,which whisper ignored, as long as just kids were interested then she was just fine.
Rex froze as she heard the kids. Her tail tried to curl up under her skirt, ears drooping to hide in her hair. She was trying to make herself seem more human. She looks at the kids before looking at Whisper, having the urge to pick her up and immediately move away from the kids, but she makes no movement to do it
when one actually approached whisper pinned her ears and hissed swiping a sheathed paws at them and they squeaked and bolted going of to giggle about the angry kitty.(XD) Whisper looked at Rex for a moment then changed direction moving away from the majority of people.
Rex watches the small exchange. She looks between the kid and Whisper. She hesitates but follows where the kid left, seeming in a small trance at the people and things going on
doof, well least now I won't have her eyes on me right? she thought swerving to follow hiding in shadows and below people, she wanted to observe, not be a part of it, observing is safe.
Rex watched the kids play around. She was curious. "Why wasn't one being picked on?" She lets her thoughts drift before mumbling to herself. "That's weird.."
whisper followed, didn't plan on actually.. showing up, not unless someone who shouldn't showed up,pray they don't, wait she was like a city away, surely they should all be, far, far away?
Rex just stopped moving and continued to watch, confused and curious. She lets out a small hum, letting her confused take over her thoughts. She looks back at Whisper before looking back at the kids
whisper just kinda backed into the shadows again, kids are loud as hell, wait, what's that? Then she turned and left, following something, or someone, meh
