Rex huffed and tried to pull Whisper back down, tired. Spike leans over to lick Whisper on the head once before looking over at Fern. And Fern looked feral. His fur was a mess as he growls and barks, full of energy

Whisper stood there for a good few more seconds before laying back down, her eyes staying on Fern and she didn't quite relax, she wasn't.. very great around energetic pups

Rex curls back around Whisper, not caring for anything else. Fern's ears twitch, tail wagging. He looked ready to pounce, to act. He goes to jump onto Rex and Whisper, but Spike grabs him mid jump and pulls him away

Her ear twitched and she shifted slightly. Looking mildly uncomfortable at the moment, but she didn't seem to have a plan to move away, just stared blankly at the two wolves, partly hoping they would leave.

Spike looks back at Rex and Whisper before looking over at Fern, who had..disappeared..? He lets out a surprised sound. Where'd the pup go so quickly?! "What the.." He mumbles before his gaze lands on Fern's tail, hiding yet forgetting about his damn tail. He walks over and just picks up Fern.
Rex huffs, staying calm and sleepy.

Remember how it seemed she wasn't gonna leave? Well turns out.. Whisper slowly got up, and inched away from the group, heading towards the trees,not being all that sneaky though.

Rex whines but lets Whisper move away, not wanting to make her uncomfortable without meaning to.
Spike dropped Fern close to Rex, though when Fern runs off to find something else to do, he was quick to follow. "Damn it, Fern.." He growls, almost running to catch up.
Rex hesitates but lets her body go limp, comfortable being alone if needed.

Whisper was debating between her current choices, running off was so her, but she also kinda wanted to stay with Rex but also.. she should probably go do something of use..

Rex stayed curled up, using her own tail as a pillow. Her eyes slowly closed, starting to fall asleep. She would feel a bit sad if Whisper left, but if Whisper wanted to leave, she wasn't going to stop her.

She looked from the trees, back to Rex, and did so, multiple times, before slowly, inching back over to Rex and laying right back down, made her feel weird, choosing some stranger over safety, weird indeed.
