Spike and Rex both listen, dropping it in seconds. Taiga was quick to grab the herbs back and rush off, happy to have them listen. Rex watches before growling. "I'm going for a walk." She then walks past Spike and Whisper, her tail purposely hitting her leg as she goes. Spike watches. "Just don't die."
Whisper just went blank staring after Rex in a mix of confusion and, admiration? maybe? she wasn't to sure, but for some reason, she quite felt the urge to follow Rex. hm, odd, normally when someones a jerk, COUGH sage, I avoid them, maybe it cus she was mean to others? do I find that cool? she thought kinda just, staring in the same direction.
Rex continues on with her walk, disappearing into the trees. Though she pauses and stops moving as if waiting for Whisper to follow her. "Wait what- Why would I care for a low-life cat? Idiot." She hisses at herself, moving to continue on. She didn't know how to feel about Whisper, but she certainly liked having her around for now.
Whisper shifted back to cat and left spikes side slowly following Rex's scent but remaining mostly out of the way simply just observing her, trying to figure out Rex a bit like a puzzle.
(yea.. whisper wasn't shown much- any love that she can remember, just, sad, grief, abandonment..)
Rex grumbles to herself, scolding herself about "how dare she let a stupid cat she just met get stuck in her mind" It was idiotic, like a child upset about something that isn't at all bad. Her ears twitch back, tail still swaying. Her movements were as if to mimic a wolf, stalking. "Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.."
whisper hopped through the trees pricking her ears at the words stupid cat "I'm not a stupid cat!" she huffed though she wasn't actually mad, she sorta, deleted that emotion somehow. Could pretend though! Yea she was secretly just watching Rex at first but then she just had to open her bloody muzzle.

Rex freezes up before looking at Whisper, shrieking. "You are! A low-life cat!" She turns her body to face her, annoyed and upset almost. With herself, and with everything else.
She flinched taking a few steps back along the branch her ears pinning back a bit like the face a scolded child that did nothing wrongs face. "Jeez sorry, no need to be snappy" she muttered.
