Suggestion: Alchemist Role

Love the idea!! Usually I'm not a fan of boosters (in videogames, I mean) but I can see this being a nice feature for WD. As others said, you were able to come up with items that wouldn't be to OP so they wouldn't make the game unbalanced. And it could be an optional role for those that don't like it or are not interested in boosters. I especially like the idea of species-specific items that could help for completing quests or searching for specific trophies. Maybe alchimists could also have a small chance to find Gems (if gems and craftable applicators are added to WD like on LD) while searching for minerals. I really hope to see this implemented!! |

Support for more pack roles, though I’d change the role name to shaman and have the magic/fantasy come from a more spiritual angle. |

While wouldn't be against calling this role shamans, I do consider herbalists to already be kind of like a shaman versus this where I think Alchemist fits better. Just my thoughts though! I'd still be happy to have this new role c: |

This would actually work really well with one of the other suggestions where the OP is talking about reducing reliance on RNG or at least giving a way for players to affect RNG in their favor |

This sounds like an interesting role option. I just would want it to be a little more generally useful for the pack instead of 50% focused on your Lead who is a single wolf end of day. |

@UnheardSiren Some of the examples I listed were for other pack members :) And I would definitely want the role to benefit the whole pack in more ways! There would have to be limitations though, so it doesn't get too OP. |

@Zohowler Personally, I'm against naming it Shaman. There are several cultures around the world that still have Shamans (my aunt was one!) and it could run the risk of being appropriating/offensive - especially given how spiritual it really is and typically tied directly to a religion. |
