This is a WIP so… you get the idea  also, please do not post on this topic, as this is my personal lore. Now, without further ado, the history and legends of The Edge Pack, or Dragon's Edge. The BeginningPart one Long, long ago, the world was dark and empty. It was a void, and life was nonexistent except for Dîorvîœs*, he was there in the beginning. And, so seeing the void, Dîorvîœs was inspired to create something that reflected the light within Him. He started It all with a song. It was a wild, powerful, and deep music, rolling over the shapeless place now called Terra. Suddenly, Dîorvîœs's song was answered by an echo, a high, tinkling, sharp echo that shook the earth. Stars came into view, and it was they who were singing with their creator. Planets and galaxies flashed across the cosmos, echoing the One who had created them. Finally, with a glorious and triumphant note, the sun burst over the horizon of the empty world. And so the first day began, and the sun fell, and the moon rose.and the first night took place. Footnote: *Dîorvîœs is the name given by the wolves and dragons to the One, Almighty Creator, He Who Gives and Takes Away, King of All. He is also known as The I AM. |

Then, the song changed, it became full of delicate, soft notes, and strong, towering notes that spoke of all old, ancient, and powerful. The ground began to ripple, and from the place where Dîorvîœs stood on his newly made planet, green things began to spread like a wave. Grass raced up the hills, and trees sprouted from the once lifeless ground. Streams and rivers, lakes, and ponds, flowed into place as the ground parted to make way. Fields full of wildflowers and brooks were complemented by towering oaks and mossy boulders, and Terra* was filled with all manner of plant life. And Dîorvîœs saw what he had made, and that it was good. And so the second day was filled with the first life, and night fell over Terra. Footnote: * Terra is the true name of what we now call Earth. It was the name given to our planet by Dîorvîœs in the Beginning. |

Now, though the earth was filled with life, it still felt empty to Dîorvîœs. And he was inspired to create a new form of life. A life that thinks and breathes, much like us today. And so Dîorvîœs created birds, great sea creatures, little insects that scuttle along the ground, and He saw his creation and that it was good. And He called to Himself every creature He had created, and Dîorvîœs blessed them, saying 'Awake, as your creator has commanded. Think speak, love.' And Dîorvîœs gave each his own tongue, and a place in Terra. The song that day was so powerful it shook the earth; it was so powerful that every thing that had been thus created by Dîorvîœs, the Creator, began to sing the song they had first made, and Terra was filled with joy. Then dusk came, and night fell, and so ended the third day. |
