"Border patrol?" I questioned, blinking slowly. This is my chance to impress him! Hastily grooming my ruffled coat flat, I stood eith a short but satisfying stretch, and turned to Badgerface, giving the tom a sharp prod. "Hunting patrol with Silkenmane." Badgerface Jerking in my sleep, I took a moment to glare at Thistlepool, before standing and tending out of the den, yawning tiredly. Glancing around camp, I paused, smiling softly at Duskkit. |

After a second he backed away padding to the entrance of camp to wait for the other two to get there.Bengal stars ears flicked picking up quiet rustles of birds in the trees.The Tom shifted taking a seat and wrapping his tail around his paws. Dusk kit-kit-She/Her The kit mimicked badger faces smile wondering where he was going.She quite liked Badger face,he was nice and quiet and didn't get all in her face or anything. |

Plodding out of the den, I glanced hurriedly around camp, dragging Amberflught behind me, and padded over to Bengalstar, ignoring Badgerface and the orphan. Badgerface Padding over to Duskkit, I glanced at the fresh-kill pile, then back at her, head tilted questioningly. |

Bengal star-leader-He/Him Without a word the Tom rose and turned padding a out of camp with a flick of his tail.He did,glance back once to make sure the two followed but other then that,nothing. Dusk kit-kit-She/Her The she kits tail swished against the ground and she nodded seeming to fully understand the question. (dusk is 13x the cat you will ever be thistle  )

Bounding after Bengalstar, I kept my shoulders back and tail high, keeping a graceful giant as I followed after the black tom. Badgerface Padding quietly over to the fresh-kill pile, I nosed past the bony mouse, settling on a small sparrow for myself and shrew of Duskkit. Grasping the prey between my jaws, I plodded back over to her and dropped the shrew, crouching next to her and tearing hungrily into the sparrow. (I told you, dude is a jerk lol) |

Bengal star-leader-He/Him being the semi friendly leader he is Bengal star slowed to walk beside Thistle pool "so,I've noticed you working pretty hard since leaf bare" he meowed with the smallest smile. Dusk kit-kit-She/Her Dusk kit waited till Badger face took a bite of his prey before she started eating the shrew,much slower and calmer.She liked to savor her prey rather then inhale it,even if she was really hungry. (Bengal,why must he be like himself) |

"Yes, we lost so many great warriors and u can't afford to slack off when the clan needs me the most," I meowed, tail flicking as I scanned the forest floor. Badgerface Snorting in amusement at the kit's manner, shecats shaking my head, I gulped down the last few bites, leaving a pile of bones and feathers at my paws. |

He nodded approvingly "agreed,need more warriors like you and sky wing,suppose badger face to" he meowed his tail swishing against the ground.His ears pricked at a soft rustle in the brush mildly tempted to check it out but chose to leave it for now. Dusk kit-kit-She/Her She finished after a moment getting bored of slow eating,hey she tried at least.Her ear flicked and she sat back wrapping her fluffy tail around her paws tilting her head at Badger face. |

"Badgerface? That tom is a bit, weird. He never talks, and is always slow to complete his tasks," i meowed, weaving between two thron bushes. Badgerface Patting the diet down, burying the remains of my meal, I stood with a stretch. Dipping my head in farewell, I padded over to the warrior's den, gently nudging Silkenmanes shoulder. (Does silkenmanes owner know about the new forums?) |

He frowned slightly "even a quiet cat,can be just as useful as a chatter bird,he works hard on his tasks,and is very involved in the clan,he even kinda took in poor dusk kit" he replied.His voice wasn't stern,but instead understanding.Bengal star understood silence,he himself had become quiet at points in his own life. Dusk kit-kit-She/Her She mimicked his head dip and watched him pad off.Her head tilted curious of what he was doing,patrol? She wanted to go! How is it fair HE could go but not HER?! she was SO mature! She huffed quietly her tail flicking. Sky wing-Warrior-She/Her Sky wing yawned sitting up from her nest and grooming her messy fur.Seeing as she had not been awakened she guessed she was likely to be on a later patrol which she much preferred anyway. (great question..) |
