In the kennel his soul wandered mindlessly in, Diablo paced, clicking his teeth with almost a desperation. "Two cages," he mumbled, starting to wave his head. "Two cages, two cages!" He snapped the air once with his mouth, his bottom jaw bumping the muzzle he wore, the thing that was driving him crazy.

John would go to the dog space and to Diablo to retrieve him for play time, not entering yet. Diablo had just arrived so John was being cautious but kind for him. "Hello there, big guy." He says calmly to the dog, crouched down just outside of the cage. 		Night Crow the Bird Brain

Diablo kept pacing, clicking his teeth absentmindedly, acting as if he'd never heard John. Finally, he smelled the worker a turned a pair of wide eyes at the man. His lips curled, but no growl came out. It was an odd gesture, but Diablo had been testing the man.
Would he taste good? And intrusive thought came to him. If only I got this stupid second cage off. He started pawing and trying to bite the muzzle.

John sighs softly. "..I know.. the muzzle sucks and no one likes it.. but it's for your safety as well as everyone else's.. but, if you'll be a good boy, I'll take you to the playground where you can play with others.. you'll have to keep the muzzle on until we are sure you won't bite anyone, though.." he says softly to the dog, gently gazing at him. Diablo paused when the man talked to him, cocking his head in confusion since he didn't understand human. He started clicking his teeth faster, staring at the worker carefully.

Diablo curled a lip at the man, but made no other protest. He seemed… ok. But he wasn't sure about the colorful rope he held.

John would carefully stand up, holding the leash and harness in one hand as he carefully enters the kennel, closing it behind him, before taking some treats from his pocket. Now that was a language Diablo understood. Food. He cocked his head slightly at the treat, lowering his silent snarl. His tail didn't wag, but he wanted that treat.

John would gently go to pull Diablo over, before going to remove the muzzle so that Diablo could have his treats. John would set the treats on the ground before going to start getting the harness onto Diablo, gentle and giving lots of pets 		Night Crow the Bird Brain
