BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hello everyone! I have a very exciting announcement for you all. The kind people at Lore Clan have reached out, and we've decided to host an event together!

What:

The Great Migration Event is a friendly contest between our two clans! The goal will be to see which clan can score the most points, and in the end a secret prize will be awarded to the winning team (along with bragging rights, of course)!

Points can be earned through raising and chasing wolves (with more points awarded for nicer wolves, though the specifics of this points system will remain hush-hush for now) or by submitting art or writing! We hope that by allowing both teams to earn points with lore or chasing, we can encourage Lore Clan members to chase more wolves, and R&C folks to dip their toes into lore!

When:

This event will be held from June 14th to June 30th. We're giving a good amount of warning to make sure everyone has time to raise wolves to adulthood, but we ask that nobody start writing or drawing anything until the start of the event (Brainstorming is a-ok though)!

Questions:

Q: What if I'm in both clans?
A: You will have to pick a side! (And you should pick Raise & Chase, obviously :P)

Q: How are points decided?
A: We're keeping that under-wraps until the start of the event to prevent people from scheming TOO much!

Reminders will be posted periodically as the event approaches. Please be kind to Lore Clan! They've been absolutely lovely to work with, and although we are going to destroy them, we should be nice about it ;)

A version of this announcement will be posted on the home page, as well as the (still under-construction) contest thread, where you'll post all of your contest point submissions when the time comes!
