Art style price/interest check

Art style price/interest check
Posted 6 days ago (edited)
Hello!

Bcs I'm writing this on my tablet, I'll keep this short. So, after a bit of experimenting, I think I have finally found a soft lined style I'm gonna be working with (mostly) from now on. Now here's the questions, do you think there is interest for this sort of style in general and how much would you be willing to pay for art like this? There are no wrong answers, so feel free to be honest! GC and USD pricings very much appreciated, but you can gauge value with either, if you don't feel confident giving estimates in the other currency.

All price estimates will be used as a reference and may not reflect the final pricing.

edit: title was too long lol

These are quite cute!
Id say for a headshot id pay 25 GC and a fullbody around 40-50? GC!

Ahh thank you!! I'm super excited to get to use this particular style more.

Also, that's super helpful! I would have probably managed to underprice myself by the looks of it, lol.

I do love the bottom one especially! You can make some good GC selling these style comms!

Btw, for marketing purposes, does the style resemble enough semi-realism to be listed as such? Or other terms, if any at all, that may come to mind. I'm sadly as bad as pricing as categorizing my own works, seems like. :')

for sure!! to me your work is stylized while keeping it semi-realistic in the best way! i'm not very good at helping check prices, but would definitely be interested in commissioning once i get my bank account settled :)

Hearing that really means a lot, thank you! Good to know the style manages to walk the line between semi-realism & stylized while still passing as the former. Would have been awkward if I had advertised it as such when it isn't, haha.

My art shop will be going through a revamp before it will be opened again, so there's no hurry!

Seconded, I'd be willing to pay 50 GC or a little more for a full body
