Search by marking color or shape in specific slot

Man you have no idea how glad I am to see other players having the same problem as me. I don't understand how I'm supposed to find an enclave pup with "any black marking in slot 6" without searching each black marking individually. I just don't even try...

Same here! Since enclave quests frequently ask for this sort of thing, it makes sense that search should support it.

a related proposal was to choose, instead of color and marking at once (like, Black Half Mask, or White Toes, or Honey Cape), to choose instead on one button the color (Black, or White, or Honey), and on the other the marking (Half Mask, or Toes, or Cape).
It wasn't about marking types though, only specific markings (we could have two submenus in the search menu like now, one for specific, one for types)

Mmmhm. I find it troublesome that the bear asks for "any black marking in slot 6", for example, but we are wholly unable to search for something like that - instead, we're gonna have to search for each black marking individually... which is pure pain.

Uuuuugh, trying for combo raffle markings (for example, I'm looking for any white marking in slot 6 to breed to the previous stud for a chance at doubloon inv panda) is a pain with the current system and would really benefit from this suggestion.

Oh man, I never posted a reply here when I clicked support a good while back. Idk what to really put here since everyone else is voicing such good thoughts already, but yeah definitely think this would be super helpful for combos like you said. Also super big help for all the enclave quests

Strongly support. I got an enclave quest for gentle unders in a specific slot, and had to search over TWENTY different markings seperately. This would be a LIFECHANGER. How is this not implemented yet?

Support! If the bear asks for it, we should be able to narrow our search the same way.

My current method isn't too bad - say the bear asks for any Mantle marking in Slot 3, I'll search for any Mantle marking in at least 1 slot, then sort by price and meticulously go through each puppy to see if the relevant marking is in Slot 3. On average it's a 1/10 chance it's right. But it is very tedious, especially if she asks for something like a custom belly marking in a low slot where it's only really going to end up there through RMAs.

Once again I've gotten a "Specific Shape in Specific Slot" Enclave quest.
These additional ways to search are needed.
