Stream was currently bounding through the grass in a clearing chasing a butterfly. Her mother was watching her half asleep while her father was who knows where.

Mack spent a great deal of time with his father. On this day in particular, his father was teaching him key skills for hunting. Tracking down wind, keeping light footed. The lesson ended near a grassy area and Mack yipped at the sight of his piebald friend.

"Stream!! Pop, can I play?" Mack's tail was all a blur when his father nodded in approval. Mack wasted no time to eagerly sprint toward his friend.

The pup paused and her tail wagged slightly when she realized who was being so loud. "hi Mack!" she said her voice as quiet as usual, she vaguely noticed her mother nodding her head at the other pups father in greeting.

Mack launched himself at Stream, unless she dodged him at the last second of course. If not, Mack would roll around on the ground with her for a moment before jumping up and around enthusiastically— completely oblivious of her butterfly chasing. "Whatcha doing out here huh?!"

Stream didn't dodge, just went limp and stayed there for a moment before shaking herself off "I was just chasing a butterfly, then you scared it off" she replied
