He glided down to land, skidding gently across the grass as he padded over to Fire. "Lean against me," he offered. "It will help balance your weight." He had wondered if he should've slipped away in the night sometimes, and just went back to being by himself. But, for some stupid, odd reason, he didn't want to anymore. |

She crept forward even further, springing back on her hind paws. They aren't looking! Now's my chance! She tucked her wings, before leaping, landing with her claws outstretched on Argenta's back. "Grrrr!" She tussled ferociously with the unfamiliar female. She growled, her eyes narrowed into slits. |

She whirled angrily. Who would dare to attack me?! without a second thought she sank her teeth into the hostile wolve's leg. She felt it begin to give. "I'll teach you to mess with us!" She snarled. (What a happy girl. Her crush just saved her life. ![]() Orchid Ostrich slid her body under Fire's wing, supporting him for the walk back to the cave a few miles away. "Marl, can you scout from the air to make sure nothings there to attack us? After all, you do have the bast working wings right now." She wasn't even joking, surprisingly. "Let's move before it gets dark." |

"Sure, I guess," he said, flaring his wings. His paw was a bit injured from being crushed, but he was pretty sure it wasn't sprained. He lifted off, gliding forward over the grasslands and trees. I don't see anything, he thought, after surveying the area. But that doesn't mean there isn't danger lurking in the woods. Ostrich She let out a yelp, struggling under the two wolves' weight. She twisted around, biting the first thing that she could grab---the dragging wolf's shoulder. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, she thought frantically. |
