So, figured I'd share this because it fits here.

I was playing Among Us last night, and I themed my character as Rouge bc why not (so, white with the bat wings hat). All of a sudden, I had Sonic show up, and we just started going off in character. Played a few rounds, and the sticking together strat saved us a game.

Then, Shadow shows up. And the first thing he does is complain about Maria. So I yelled at him for being a grump and we played. Also, Sonic pulls a "You're late, Shadow," and my brain instantly reads that as SonicSonc182's Sonic VA bc he's said that before.

Either that round or the round after, I got impostor. So, fully aware Sonic was on my tail, hunted down Shadow, falsely assuming Sonic would cover for me. "I thought you'd cover for me, you don't like him"

I got voted out and then had to deal with Shadow going "What the heck Rouge, what have I done to you?" My simple reply was, "I just wanted to say I took down the Ultimate Life Form."

Of coarse even I know Sonic would never cover for murder, even if it was just Shadow XD

Oh! I just remembered a random thought I was going to share yesterday but forgot.

Okay, so I was at work singing the escape city song from sonic generations. And I randomly remembered that Sonic Boom tv show I saw like 2 years ago. And personally I never liked the characters in that show. Amy was too mature which was totally different from what I'm used to, Dr. Eggman was a skinny nerd who fanboys over shadow, and Knuckles looked like he was on steroids or something, and was super dumb. Tails was normal, and Sonic was more chill. Sticks was a good character though.

Anyways I remembered a scene that Shadow the hedgehog appeared. I don't remember exactly what he said. But he was talking about sonics popularity going down or himself not being a main character (I forget which), and said something like Kids all over the world are constantly asking for me to be in this show. And I was like that's true, even I wanted him in this show. 

XD Hedgie was into that show over the summer lol I never watched it but from what she told me about Sticks, I like her too

also I think I remember hearing that Shadow's voice was weird in the show? like high-pitched or whiny or nasally or somethin XD

I remember that. I remember the exchange with Shadow and Eggman and the other baddies and everyone was like "Who is that?" to Shadow.

His response? Something along the lines of "I'm the second most popular character in this franchise" (actually now that I think about it Eggman said that in reference to Shadow)

I love the 4th wall breaks in that show and I'd totally take another week out of my life to binge that show a second time. (I probably need to lol)

@Ducky, they got a new VA for Shadow and the voice is way too deep and gruff and I just... I hate that voice actor. Then again, we had tenor pitched Shadow in SA2

Shadow is best in a baritone. Not a gruffy bass or an awkward tenor.

edit- the animation reminds me of minecraft storymode for some reason lol something about the way his expressions change and the way he's standing

Well yeah, Shadow's werehog voice is deeper as per expectation (oop I hear Ruby fangirling in the background behind me. Don't worry girl, your overlord has plans for you to hear Shadow's werehog voice even after they clean up that whole mess)
