He nodded in understanding. "It must have been scary as a kit without their clan to protect them. How did you survive?" He stood up and beckoned her to follow him out of the den. "We should probably talk out here. I don't want to disturb our clanmates." He sat down and curled his tail over his paws as he faced her, his ears pricked as he looked at her curiously, waiting for her to answer his question. 		*Chloe*

Ivykit followed him, limping slightly. She sat wrapping her tail around her paws. "After the fire, I was caught by a two-legged kit" She sighs. "I escaped. I taught myself to hunt. For fighting, a tom loner decided to teach me." She looks at the ground.

He nodded along, admiring her determination and perseverance to find her clan once again. "I think Hickorystar should give you your warrior name right away." Tigerstorm thought aloud. "That kind of loyalty to look for your clan your whole life is unbreakable. For me, you have already shown the qualities of a great warrior. Plus we can learn from each other. I'm sure you have different fighting and hunting techniques that can benefit Alpineclan greatly. 		*Chloe*

Ivykit looked up at him. "Thank you." She said softly. "There was never a day that I didn't like for my clan, and I just noticed something looking back, how did Oakear get the scar on his tail?"

His head lowered in sadness as he thought of the raging fire that had swept through their old home. "The fire that drove us out of our home." He mowed. "It killed many of our warriors and this is what's left of us." He told her and swept his tail gesturing to the whole camp. 		*Chloe*

Oakear walked into view. "Ivykit, tigerstorm, it's time I told you the story." He sat. "I did escape the fire, I did do something foolish, I ran back in looking for my family, I saw our parents, and our brother." He closed his eyes. "I rushed deeper into the nursery, looking for you, I thought I saw you, but it was my best friend."

Ivykit gasped. "Oakear, why would you do something so foolish?"

Yawning, I blinked tiredly. Tail sweeping across the Earth as I glanced around my den, it was bigger than my old den. Glancing at my sleeping mate, I stood and stretched before padding out of my den. Spotting ivykit, oakear, and tigerstorm awake and chatting, I nodded at the three. Passing them, I leapt onto a small rock, barely wide enough for me to grip properly. "Let all cats old enough to hunt gather around!" I yowled.

Oakear sat straight up his sharp eyes locked on his leader. "Ivykit, this important, follow my lead." He whispered.

Ivykit nods sitting up and looked towards Hickorystar.
