Both cats stopped at what smelled like a border, looking back at each other. "Should we just, go through?" Lynx asked. "No, just wait, I'm sure a patrol will be here, eventually" Nova paw meowed through the kits fur, her companion seemed to tense up for a couple seconds, took forever to convince Lynx the clan wouldn't maul her to death, probably, she left the last part out.

Lynx hissed at the Tom's sudden appearance but Nova paw just gave her a look. Carefully she set the kit down, wrapping her tail around it like she had earlier. "Looking for my clan, and the father of this little one, are you by chance, a clan cat?" She asked calmly, she thought the Tom seemed a littleeee familiar but she couldn't quite tell.
