Her mother was going to kill her.

It wasn't often that Eylah Moonwalker went brazenly out into the wilderness beyond the pack's territory outside of hunting. In fact, she had never done such a thing before. But her brother had dared her to, had said she was too much of a coward and a do-gooder to ever so much as leave unannounced. Well, she sure showed him wrong. She had made it three days out of the pack's territory before she realized she might have gone a tad bit too far. So now she was probably going to die. Whether by her mother's paws when she returned to the pack's den or by the wilderness getting to her. A lone wolf was a dead wolf, after all.

Eylah sighed through her nose and tried sorting through the different scents she picked up. There were many animals in the area, though she wasn't exactly looking for any of them. Rather, she was trying to avoid them. She wasn't going to chance confrontation on her lonesome. No way, no how.

Of course, she figured as she picked up on the scent of another wolf entirely too close to where she was, she was never the lucky sort.

Blacklight was walking along and he stopped apon a different smell. He decided to invest. He crouch and slunk forward and accidently stepped on a branch. He sighs and stood to his full height. "Hello?" He asked his voice like a breeze in the long grass.

Eylah watched as the other wolf stood to their full height and called out to her. Well. No point in delaying the inevitable.

"Hello," she said, making herself visible and appearing small and not at all a threat. She didn't want to see if her new companion spooked easily. "I'm afraid I'm a bit lost. Do you happen to know where we are?"

Darklight nods. "Yes, I'm darklight  call me which ever you like." He said. "You're in my leader festivals territory."

Oh great. She'd wandered right into another wolf's territory.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Darklight," she said. "I'm Eylah."

Her eyes caught the sight of orange light on the grass around them, and so she gazed to the sky. It was nearly sunset. Night would be upon them soon. And she didn't fancy spending the night out in the wilderness as she had the last three days. Not when there was an opportunity right in front of her.

"Say, would your leader mind if I spent the night?" she asked. "I promise I won't be a bother."

Eylah felt her whole body perk up. At least the owner of this territory was a kind one.

"Alright," she said, "lead the way."
