Thank you! There's now a thread here for it. |

Glad to see someone working on this! I'm also wondering about it too, but I don't have that many resources to breed puppies so... |

Each time a wolf levels up they get 2x the new level's stats, distributed randomly. So a wolf reaching level 4 gets 8 stats, level 10 is 20 stats, etc. The variability comes in the "bonus" stats they can receive while doing their pack role. For example after hunting in the summary it will say something like "[Wolf] received +80 exp. +1 agility." I have also seen scouts gain stats according to the biome they (re)scout, and herbalists can get wisdom and smarts from making medicine (maybe foraging as well? I forgot). Lead wolves get bonus stats by battling. |

This is very exciting :D |

so do the parent stats account for stats from leveling up or is it their base/level1 stats that are used? |

@Fluffy Puppy, it's stat at the moment of breeding. |

@6646 After looking at some of Emperor's recent puppies sired you are correct. I've found that for data we've recently collected, the range of add-ons for parents' total individual stat greater than 450 can indeed be lower than 21. Above is all the data we've collected to date, which consists of 1740 set of data. The initial line of best fit came to be more of a linear equation, which could well be due to the fact we haven't hit the curve yet (in order for this to be a log formula). Right now we only have 90 data points of data where the parents' total individual stat and the graph is really just all over the place. We are going to try to just collect more data right now to see how the trendline develops into higher stat breeding. |

Thanks for the offer, but I don't want this to turn into a data collection thread. I rather we use this to discuss trends we notice and theories on the formula. #9700 has really been a great help by collecting wolves bred to Emperor and we have been able to gather sufficient stat data. If you are also collecting data on your own breeding, I would love to see a consolidated summary of what you've been seeing and any trends/possible formula speculations. |
