So after years now, I finally made a template and a guide for that template! I also made a guide on making your own simple backgrounds! Another template, as mentioned in the edited posts, will be coming eventually, but I will need time to understand everything first. It will likely be a evolving thing too, as I keep finding more and more bits of the site's layout I had no idea about before! Like spoilers, which I just discovered after editing the template guide post lol After I complete the labelled full template, my next goal will be to update the three existing layouts to be fully completed and cleaned (they are a mess and have lots of duplicate or unneeded code). They look nice as is when used with WD's dark layout setting (found on your user profile), but I have no idea what they look like on light layout or combined with other users' den/profile layouts, so I want to make it a point to fix them. After that, whenever I have the free time, I will be getting around to more layouts, which will be easier thanks to the templates.
