now, i enjoy medium-large trails giving out a fair amount of hp loss. i think it makes sense and is a risk/reward sort of thing, and i don't objectively think it should change very much. but i sometimes find my hunters getting open wounds on critter trails. which is just. a little silly. sure, you could say its from unrelated factors but i think high hunting proficiency in wolves should provide them with a chance to get
i feel like this gives proficiency in hunting a nice little flavor, and doesn't make low proficiency wolves useless at all. it's just an additional incentive beyond better prey catching rates to train your wolves! not to mention, i assume them being proficient means they've gotten very good at it. while they can't prevent every injury or open wound, i think they would have a bit more skill in avoiding harm. |

That's a really good idea and would definitely make grinding up a hunter's proficiency more appealing. Support. |

Support! The HP loss stuff gets really tedious, and it makes sense that skilled enough wolves should be able to avoid it. |
