Ability to Unlock More Breeding Males

Posted 2021-02-10 16:03:55

YES PLEASE! I have some amazing male wolves that I know would make great studs, but don't have the GC to retire my old breeding male. He is also my hunting party's stalkers so I don't want to kill him off! This would remedy these problems, so I fully support.

I support this suggestion because it allows more genetic diversity for breeding within your pack and sometimes it can be a challenging choice to pick just one male wolf that you want to be your stud.

Agreed! Especially when breeding for mutations or certain base colors. For example, more than half the albinos have the same two-three studs in their lineage which makes keeping clean lines harder.

I'd like even just the ability to have a second male for YOUR pack. I support this with the idea it be unlocked with territory to have a bit more lore sense.

Support 110%!!
For me, this seems like a no-brainer to add! I think it is absolutely missionary for the integrity of the game. Linden's biggest downfall and why I stopped playing was because you could only ever have 1 male available for breeding. this then created a TON of inbreeding in the game. We have things like pair-bonding, and there is a significant decrease in 'Dirty breeding' in Wolvden compared to Lioden. I think this will definitely help boost wolven's economy, I do think there definitely should be a limit on how many breeding male slots you can unlock. But I also believe you should be able to switch which breeding male is made as your sole public one at any time. This will help increase the value of male wolves. Give them a purpose, I love my males and want to be able to continue their legacy.

1. Number of breeding males should increase with territory slots, but no more than 3
2. They can't be public studs
3. Maybe their breeding slots should be heavily limited
