I know this is late, but please forgive me! This thread is in regards to advertising more than the wolves themselves, but still has some interesting insights in case anyone wishes to read!

Because of how foxes were introduced, they eventually became the "gateway" to breeding t3s. For instance even if you wanted a base from a completely different shade/color category (like Iridium) in the first few weeks they were introduced, a fox would be involved - whether it was their immediate parents or back in their lineage. But ALSO because of how genetics work in this game, this ended up pumping foxes out more than anything else, so everyone accidentally overbred them.. and now there are foxes everywhere.

I hoped the raffle studs would fix the problem of just only breeding for bases and short lineage but barely anybody seems interested in their special marks and traits. :-( which sucks because their eyes are gorgeous… maybe adding more mutations would be nice?I would totally throw out my short lineage preferences in order to breed a piebald wolf, that's like my dream for future updates. Plus thr way the carrier system is set up means you can't RC mutations which is nice — it pushes people away from the "quickly devaluing anything past g2" ending

I would love more mutations! More random in general, but ones that are hereditary like they are irl. Piebald, hairless, breeding merles could sometimes produce a double merle, which would take stat blows/be more accident prone when hunting or such. I'm still (im)patiently waiting for some sort of dog or coyote hybridization, maybe it just effects ears and size or adds a hybrid-only marking.

I was hoping the raffle studs would help too! I RMA'd black wings on my stud and I've been selling her pups but barely anyone's biting them. She's definitely getting more activity than she would if I hadn't RMA'd a raffle marking, but still people don't seem to be as excited about raffle features than I am

I love the concept of mutations, in how some are Carried down and cannot stay on the wolf if chased, forcing even the longer lined ones to stay valuable. The issue is…

I don't care about the carrier mutations. Albinism and melanism are fine, but they're kind of boring, because every wolf with them looks the same. I dislike brachycephaly because it's just not my thing.
That leaves all the random lethal mutations, which… are beautiful art wise but there's no reliable way to breed them. :(

At this point I would die for more diverse carrier mutations, or something like coywolves above which would be passed without possibility of "failing" from one parent to another.

EDIT: Kaz your stud is Girlboss right? I love her but have never been able to scrape up the money to breed… I love the black wings mark to death. However I wouldn't really lower her price (if you think that's what I'm suggesting) because if there ever was a stud worth shelling out 19gc for, it would be an NBW teardrop with black wings.

Thank you so much! Some day you'll be able to stud to her or nab a cute pup :)
