Interest Check: Chimericore (Half Manticore, Half Chimera semi-open species)

I'm,,, unreasonably nervous to be posting this and I don't know why |D

Chimericore are my original, semi-open species, and very close to my heart! They're half chimera, half manticore hybrids- and sadly, a highly endangered species. In an effort to revitalise the dying breed, one of the last remaining members has been repeatedly cloned to boost numbers.
Strangely, though, the Chimera half of the species' genes has a very strange reaction to cloning, and no perfect replica of the original has ever been created. Instead, each cloned member is entirely unique- both in appearance and personality!

Chimericore sport human-level intelligence, and live among humanoid/anthropomorphic society as normal members. Each Chimericore has a stinger, the venom from which can have a range of effects. They also boast strong innate magic- telekinesis comes easily, as does magic which helps them change their appearance (known as 'glamours'!). Just about every member of the species at the very least possesses the ability to switch between a bipedal anthropomorphic form and a quadrupedal feral form.

They're extremely varied, their Chimera half means they can display traits from just about any animal! 90% of the species appear feline, but some appear to have a different base species....

I've made a smaaaaaall handful of Chimericore already, and I'd love to do more with the species; including selling them on here!
Eventually I might like to run a small ARPG for them over on DeviantArt, but that's a ways off yet |D Let's get the guys properly established first fdkjgh
If there's interest, I'll probably make a thread for these guys in the adopts section and start posting designs there for sale (and maybe other people can post some too, if they like??? aaaaa). If there's no interest maybe I'll do it anyway I just... Struggle witch motivation when there's little payoff y'know dsgfkh

> Semi-open species? What does that mean?
It means that Chimericore are free to create- however, there are limitations on the kind of traits you may use! Official designers (at this time, that just means me |D) have less limitations on what traits they can use. Standard Chimericore are limited to the use of up to two Atypical traits, and cannot use Restricted or Glitched traits.

As long as you stick to the trait restrictions, yes to both! I'd love to see them if you decide to make one ouo
