Feng ate some and let her babies try it

Cardon didnt dare move away from Feng. He would protect her anyway he could till the little ones were able to walk. He was the protector, after all.

Jewel and her siblings ate it

Cardon stayed by them all day. "  you feeling any better, Feng?" he asked " i wanna make sure"

"just tired." She said

Cardon wrapped his body around her the best he could to keep her warm

Jewel and her siblings clambered over him

Cardon gave a smile and nuzzled them into his warm body for it was windy and cold " alright little ones, settle down"

Jewel noticed that two of her sisters were weak

Cardon sighed " um Feng.. something is wrong with these two" he said nuzzling them " im doing all i can, but nothing is working"
