Hot beavers = fast beavers?

Is anyone else having an impossible time catching beavers in explore? I (i.e. my lead) was catching so many beavers in explore I was planning on making it part of my pack's storyline. In one day I caught 17 of the things. I had a success rate around 75-80 percent on chasing the beavers and catching them.

Then summer happened. I haven't caught a single one. Every single one I chase gets away.

Is this a known thing? Are beavers just supercharged in summer? Are other people experiencing this?

now that you mention it? yeah. its super weird. i havent caught a single beaver in days.

Yep, catching them for me has gone from 70% to 0%. And I'm pretty sure it's not a summer thing? I don't think I had this issue last summer because I was feeding my pack with them up until my hunters had better proficiency. (And if it is a summer thing, why on earth would beavers be harder to catch when water levels at their lowest after the spring snow melt but before the autumn rains?)

Kinda seems like it was either overly nerfed recently or a bug when they added the new crafting recipes.

same. oml it's just so weird! I used to catch them pretty much every time but now it's pretty much impossible.

I haven't caught a beaver in 2 days. I wonder if it's a  bug from the latest update?

I was wondering actually, but same! I have been chasing beavers all the time in explore and I can't seem to catch any, and it was annoying me a lot since my hunters also seem to fail a lot the last few days. I used to get a lot of food that way but lately I get nothing

Same. I loved being able to catch beavers and now it seems impossible to get them. It sucks.

Same. My hunters' success rate has dropped off considerably lately. I thought it might have been related to moving my pack, but now I'm starting to wonder.
