If you want to check my boy out, go ahead! I understand if you don't, though, since he hasn't got any rare colors. He's my pack leader and I love him. I don't have much space in my pack so you should keep the puppies, but I would love to see what they look like! |

Thank you! I honestly thought maybe I wouldn't get any since usually people want to breed with rare colors. Your girl is very pretty too! |

Ahh, I play for lore and casual gameplay, and your boy honestly hit like Weasel would like to meet him. Of course, by the way, and thank you too! <3 I mostly breed for stats anyways rather than rare traits; rare traits is just a bonus for me. :D |

I'm actually new here (just joined today) and so I've so far only thought about breeding because I wanted to see some cute puppies (is there any other kind of puppy, though?) And I'm also a casual gamer (like, in general), serious gameplay kinda stresses me out. |

Oh, welcome to Wolvden! Feel free to let me know if you ever need anything, and I'll see what I could do for yah! Yes, there is different kind of puppies you can get! There is common ones (T1 bases for example, such as marengo), and then there is uncommon traits, which is usually BO (T2 bases for example, such as lavender!), and finally, there are rare traits! Currently, rare bases are classed as the T2 bases that are not as common as the other T2 bases. Marks like merle and inuit unders fall under this category since I'm pretty sure they are RMA exclusive, but in all honestly, they're as common as a rock at this point, lmao T3 bases would be Edit note: Special bases are indicated by an asterisk, not a tier. Tier 3 is rare bases! There are also muties you could luckily (or, unluckily?) obtain through breeding/buying from other players! As Tala had explained, there are random mutations you could get, and then there are recessive ones you could get. Random currently is just lethals, and then recessive is only melanism and albinoism. I totally get that! I jump between casual and serious, but for the most part I'm a casual player so I don't get burnt out and could actually enjoy the game. |

Oh, I hope I don't get any lethal mutations, because I don't want to lose any puppies. But what do BO and RMA stand for? Also, I've noticed that there's more slots for pups than adults, which probably means some should have to be released at some point. That's gonna be hard, picking which wolves should be kicked out of the pack, since there aren't any I dislike. |

Lethals are actually pretty fun to get, provided you have the funds. They could sell for well over 100 GC if you decide you want to sell them! Best to have a immortal slot and a jellyfish to be prepared! It's not a thing you'll have to worry about quite yet, but if you ever happen to get a surprise lethal, lemme know and I'll give you the funds for an immortal slot and a jellyfish from the grove! Sorry, I forget you wouldn't know those terms. BO means breed-only, and RMA means Random Marking Applicator, which can be bought from the grove for 3 GC! True, true. For the first few weeks of playing, it may be rough, but as you play and get to know the game more and more, things will lighten up on yah! Save every cent you can get, and don't buy what you know you can't keep. On average, assuming you have great hunting and finding, and you complete your quest, you should earn at the least 200 SC a day, and at the most 400, assuming you don't sell anything in the trading center. I suggest you take a good look through the Grouse House guides! They are super helpful, and will get you through the game much better than you can if you went in blind! Then you could also of course send me a message if you ever need help with anything, I'd love to help! |

Thank you! I actually have 0 gold cones, so that's why I'm worried about getting lethal mutations, since I can't make my pups immortal yet. I just know that real wolf packs love their puppies and so they are probably really sad when pups die. I'm being good about not buying stuff, except I bought an extra adult slot with the silver cones from the stud request, since I had 1 adult slot left and 2 pups from the breeding tutorial and I wanted to keep both when they grew because I just looked at them when they were born and thought "awww, they're so cute I love them" I have a problem with getting emotionally attached to things easily, lol |

Of course! Oh, no worries! You just let me know if a lady ever spawns one, and I'll getcha what you need! Very likely - it's always sad when the young dies :( Very reasonable! Your first slots will be easy to get; the rest will be a bit tricky. SC is a bit difficult to get at the start, but I'm sure you'll manage well! Ahh, same here, same here. I still have my NBWs from when I first started and have no plans to let them go, same with certain other wolves. Kai, my oldest wolf, is due to retire free in only a few rollovers. I was so close to reject befriending him back on first day, but then I was like, weeeelllllll. :') |
