Add an item that allows a non-breeding male to sire a litter

10 gc sounds appropriate to keep the general idea of single breeding male going! And it could be named like "Pack Blessing" or something. That'd be cute. |

I like the idea, but 10 GC seems a bit high to me personally, especially considering the limitations proposed in the post. They're very reasonable limitations and I think something like that would be reasonable enough to balance out a lower price, like 3-5 GC. Folks could get a handful for breeding pairs if they wanted to while still not flooding the market that way. <: Honestly, I'd be happy enough with it if it was 10 GC, though, I'd just like the ability to breed non-stud males in some way or another. |

Support, and at 10gc or higher actually |

No support/tentative support. The breeding system needs to be tinkered with but I really don't think this is a reasonable fix for it at all. If it was only this vs no change at all then I'd take it, in which case: The price is far too steep (for something that imo should be a basic part of the game anyway) and even if lowered it shouldn't be for GC if you want this item to remain viable for most users in the long-term. The value of GC is only going to inflate as the site ages, that's just what happens to premium currency on pet sites, especially if nearly all of the 'good' items are locked behind premium currency. I'd say pop it into the Raccoon Shop at 250sc max. We need to be encouraging people to keep more males to reduce the overall production of puppies (fewer females = fewer potential litters), not making their regular use a rarity/hard to casually attain for most users. |

I support this, though @Stormy makes a good point. Maybe it could go in Raccoon Wares, but for a steeper price -- I think 250 SC is too low, imo and would discourage wealthier players from using outside studs, especially since a lot of good quality studs cost 200 SC minimum. Putting it in Raccoon Wares for 400-1000 SC (depending on the use limit and other item restrictions) could be a good alternative to the Grove |

No support. This should be a basic part of the game available through some normal means (at worst, a SC item in the Raccoon Shop,) not yet another thing to put behind a paywall. For one, it's an unpopular opinion but I think Wolvden (and Lioden, one of the reasons I don't play it) already have excessive monetization. So many non-cosmetic features that could be fixes or normal gameplay are behind a paywall. It's just very off-putting even if it isn't intended to be. Like "Oh, you want gameplay feature x to help fix the economy and for your lore clans? Of course! Anyway... that'll be $2.50." This also won't help with the economy side of the issue that the overwhelming majority of males are worthless. This does not give them value, only allows people to breed specifically nice or sentimental wolves. |

What ever as long as we can breed other males |

A sex changer is not a way to breed males. A sex changer just changes your male to a female, which perpetuates the problem—you can only breed that male-turned-female to your single breeding male, which sucks. Honestly, I'm pretty sure that there's five or six methods in the game development board that ask for males to be able to breed. And I'm going to support all of them, because even though I just want males to be able to breed (no item required), these ideas pop up in the event that staff doesn't like that idea. To me, anything is better than the problem we have currently. |

It kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a breeding male in general if you could just make any wolf father pups outside the alpha or in Wolvden's case - breeding male. It's kind of the same how Lioden's people want submales to be breedable |

The breeding male exists for a stud economy. If all males were given a chance to breed, they would still not be allowed to breed with other packs—just with their own pack. There's a ton of good arguments in the biggest "let all males breed" thread, including pairing wolves. I suggest everyone here checks that thread out as well. |
