My Little Pokemon (Interactive Adopts)(Event!)

Emmeline snatched up a flyer and handed it to me, and I grinned. "Come on, Emmeline, let's check it out!" I said happily, and I rushed towards the pond with her. We both frowned a little upon getting to the "pond" and finding it was more of a large lake. I gave Emmeline a few scritches to reassure her. "It'll be alright. C'mon, girl." And we got closer.

The same man who had come running through the safari stood at a plain white folding table with some equipment forms and items. As people were slowly arriving he began. "Alright. Lets get started then. First I want to introduce myself, I am Zakiax the professors assistant." At this time the shiny charmander pokepony that had followed him through the safari with the 'fliers' stood next to him, her satchel emptied. "And this is Tannith, my partner"

"Professor Chestnut, finally finished setting up and stocking Magikarp Pond" he gestured to the large lake behind him. "Which i suppose looking at it up close its more of a lake then a pond. But I suppose that is up for another discussion later. Aside from Magikarp the professor tells me that other water type ponies have decided to lurk about the edges. But They are quite finicky so the professor has come up with some new items to help Lure these pokeponies to use and allow us to catch them."

With his hand he gestured to the table that was set up in front of him, which showed the new items. 

Bait Trap: An Item used at Magikarp Pond to lure in aquatic Pokeponies. Needs bait to work. 

Bait: Bait is used in the bait trap to lure in a pokepony. You may only use bait once per day and it will always attract a pokepony. There are three types of bait Common, Uncommon, and rare (as shown above in that order). Each rarity has a chance at catching up to that rarity of pokepony, however it can lure things below it. Example. Rare bait can also lure common and uncommon pokeponies.

"Each person who arrives will get a package of 1 bait trap, and one of each bait. The professor has hidden more bait pouches around the safari so you'll sure to find more in your explorations. The professor tells me that if you don't catch the pokepony you lure you are able to then run into it later in the safari during your explorations. Exciting isn't it!

He paused a few minutes allowing his crowd to take in the information that he had just relayed. "Oh right, before I forget. I do have some quests if you want to accept them for some unique items. Come talk to me after you have gotten your bait traps to find out the details of them!

I look at Nightshade and Scorch. "So, do we want to try for a new friend, or do we want to see what the quests are about first?" Both stomp their hoofs twice, Scorch almost bouncing in excitement. "Alright, alright, I get it. Let's go see Zakiax about the quests." Scorch bounces around Nightshade and I before scampering towards Zakiax and his partner. "Well, he seems rather excited, doesn't he  Nightshade? Let's head over, before he decides to try headbutting us." With a soft laugh, I walk over, Nightshade following calmly.

"So, what's this about quests? I'm Orias or Ori, by the way, and this is Nightshade, and the bouncing one is Scorch."

I listened to Zakiax as he spoke, the quests sounded interesting but so did trying for a new friend for me and Blaze, it was Blaze who made the decision for us when he took off and headed for Tannith, "Blaze wait up!" I called in a panic before following him quickly.

Blaze stopped and sniffed in Tanniths direction tentavily, as I walked up to Zakiax, "Im so sorry about, Blaze here he´s just a little eager to meet new potential friends" I said, "but uh you mentioned something about quest?"

Hi,  I'd like to give all my pokemon away. (Or like back in the community pool thing)

(Heads up i'll be able to get to everything on Thrusday or wednesday night after work. I was holding this event in feb cause it was suppose to be our slow month at work but that has not been the case so far so I'll also prob extend the event a bit since i have not been able to do what i planned to this month with it)

Seeing as two trainers approach him with their pokeponies he smiled in their direction. Maybe researching this place wouldn't take that long if he had these two to help him. "Professor Chestnut has tasked me with researching the pond, seeing what sort of pokeponies are attracted to the large body of water" He motioned his hand out to the lake before them. "I myself also want to know what sort of pokeponies are attached to each type of bait you use. So my quest is simple, using the bait i've given you as well as the ones you find in the safari zone I would like you to catch pokeponies from the pond and bring them to me. They will be yours to keep, however I just want to make a note of what you guys have found and how you attracted them. Each time you do i'll give you an item or two." He motioned towards table of items he had on hand. Several of them were different from what was found in the safari zone others seemed completely new. "The two trainers who bring me the most pokeponies from the lake in a month will receive a pokepony egg. The professor tasked me with raising them but with all the other errands she has me running I do not have the time to try to hatch them."

There was a pause as he looked back and forth between the two who had approached him. "So will you help us?"
