So just imagine with me here for a second..

There is a story of a young wolf from the Forbidden Pack. A wolf who loves to chase bees and mice and other young predators. He tires himself out during the day, and falls asleep an hour before sunset, curled in his den made of soft, sweet grasses. Then in the dead of night, he rises, groggy and confused. Where had the day before gone? Were the bees still out? Could he frolic alone like he did in the day? Eager to test this theory out, he runs into the wilderness every night, searching for things to chase endlessly. Every creature is stricken by how ferociously he searches, snarling every minute on a good night. They hide from him, afraid of his questionable intentions. Once he finds a creature just as awake as he, he begins his chase. Frustrated that the creatures of the wild have hidden from him as though he were a beast, he chases them until they can go no longer. He makes his last bound into the air, taking after the leap of a deer, before twisting and slamming his paw onto the creature in an arc motion. The young pup, disgusted with the creature even after death, drags it away to the raging waterfalls at the edge of pack territory. He tosses them in, hoping the river below will tale his victim far, far away from his sight. He repeats this action until the moon has set, and fearfully scrambles his way back home in almost total darkness.
