First, there are a few good ways to earn more sc than through exploration. Complete the daily quests each day if possible! They can net you 100-150sc plus they give your lead wolf experience. Seconds, if you aren't that big into fighting while exploring, you can sell healing salves! I can sell them for about 100-120sc for 5 salves. Third, sell your meats to the racoon! Not all of it, and this may not be realistic at the start since your wolves won't be the best at hunting, but I always sell meat chunks. On a good day I can get over 100sc! Certain carcasses can also sell for a lot at the trading center. Turkey hens and agouti go for around 80-100sc depending on the market. You can try to stud out your male, though that is more difficult to profit from if you don't have rare markings or bases.

As for my tips, I sort of second what Jackie said, though I'll add onto what they suggested. I also recommend selling things to the Raccoon for profit, but mostly any food item that's below 4 uses. So, small and medium meat chunks, eggs, rabbits, etc. Nothing large, as the profit you earn isn't worth losing that much food. And, make sure to sell things at the end of the day after you feed all your wolves! It sucks to sell things and then not have enough to feed your squad lol!

Also yes, healing salves go for a bit, as do open wound salves and amusement items! I tend to hoard owl claws before selling 10 at once for 150-200 SC.

ALSO also, try to hold off on setting your stud male until you have a good boy with a tier two base, 10 markings, exclusive marks, etc. It costs 20 GC I believe to replace your male, which is quite the expense. And there's really no benefit to having a stud male early, as he'll likely be only a tier one and consequently only produce tier ones. Wait for a later opportunity if you can!

In case you've already done the stud quest, finding cheap studs to start out breeding your wolves is pretty tiring, there's a cheap stud thread that can help you out a lot starting out! 

IMO the most important stuff when starting is completing the snake quests and leveling up your hunting team as expanding your territory gets more expensive with every slot you purchase,

also like everyone else said, snake quests are the easiest and best way to make sc in the game. exploring, hunting and scouting are also very important as they can help you gain experience and gain sc for more territory space. pm me if you have any questions or want any help or, honestly just anything!
