" No!" Kassie  growled  nipping at him to head back " stay where you are. But i may consider it later..."

Z was finally back at the den fast asleep

“I’m counting on it!” He barked cheerfully, turning around to walk away. When they were out of earshot he let out a snarl of aggravation.

Adelite didn’t want to wake him so she carful you picked her way to the further end of the den. She felt guilty for not catching any prey while she was out.

Kassie noticed and walked to her " whats wrong Adelite?" she nuzzled her 

“Nothing much, it’s just that that wolf took me off guard and I don’t trust him,” she said quietly.

" its ok. Ill deal with him" Kass said " i promise" 

Kassie sighed " looks like there was meat that was brought  not too long ago.. go ahead and eat. you look starved"

“Thank you,” she said smiling. Adelite padded over to the prey and took a piece for herself. Tired from the days events and heavy with the meal, she curled up and feel asleep.

Kassie saw Z and talked with him a bit before telling him to keep Ad company for the night

" yes Ma'am" he said walking over to Adelite and curving around her and licked her head gently to let her know she was safe
