Kodi barely slept that night and instead gazed into the dark trees. 

Ad drifted in and out of sleep. By the time the sun peaked through the trees, she was still exhausted. She covered her eyes with her tail.

Z walked over to her and chuckled " want me to keep you warm? Its windy and will be for a while" then he looked at Kodi  and shook his head " and dont worry about him, he would touch you while im here" 

Adelite looked up and smiled. “Sure,” she said, feeling a little more cheerful than before.

Z nuzzled her and wrapped his body around her " let me know when you get warmer" he said calmly and fell asleep

Despite the stress caused by the days events, she fell swiftly asleep.

kassie went to check up on then and noticed they were asleep. She would have to take the guarding shift for the time being till Z woke up. Kassie kept an eye on Kodi and made sure he wasnt doing anything against her rules. She had already forgiven Ad, but she would never forgive Kodi. he would be leaving soon as it was and Kassie smiled at the thought.

Kodi could sense being watched but showed no sign that he did. Instead he stared straight ahead outside at the dark forest.

Adelite stirred in her sleep just before the sun poked through the trees. The sky was pink and purple and the last stars where slowly disappearing. She got to her paws and stretched.

Z felt her wake up and growled " is it morning already?" he asked  realizing   where he was and stared at Adelite " i hope you where warm enough" he said blushing. He nuzzled her before sighing and  going off to hunt. He didnt need permission from Kassie because he was the main hunter for the pack. He was the best too. 

“Yea, I was fine” she replied. She watched him leave and felt a pang of embarrassment for being so close. She forgot her feeling however when she remembered Kodi. She let out a small growl of annoyance.

Kassie soon appeared at her side "  well, good morning, Adelite" she said with a smile " I hope Z didnt annoy you last night... hes been getting a bit frustrated lately.. I think i know what the issue is" she said sniffing the air " im guessing he went out to hunt for the pack"
