"Okay," Adelite said, slightly distracted as she walked back.

Kodi heard twigs snapping and drifted through the trees unseen, catching small glimpses of Kassie.

Kassie smelled Kodi nearby, but didnt care. She had a job no matter what he tried to do. She went off deeper into the woods and killed a stag for the pack and using her strong legs and jaws, brought it back to camp ten minutes later

Kodi watched the alpha for a while, eyes narrowed but disappeared into the forest without a word.

Adelite padded up to Kassie. “Welcome back” she said warmly.

"Thank you, Adelite" Kassie said nuzzling her " Alright everybody!" she howled " meal time!"

Adelite sat beside Kassie and selected a piece of the prey before settling down. She was in a distracted haze as she ate. The wolf contemplated if she should stay in the pack or leave soon.

Kassie ate with the others in peace. Z on one side of Adelite and Kassie on the other. Z kept looking at Adelite with loving eyes. But  quickly looked away.

Kassie noticed " Someone has eyes on you Adelite" she chuckled " I think he has feelings for you."

Adelite tried to not look embarrassed and avoided eye contact. “Heh, maybe.” She said to Kassie.

kassie chuckled " I know you have feelings for him to. I can see it in your eyes..the way you look at him. "  she said glancing at Z. " just tell him how you feel about him, and he will surely do the same. "

Adelite ooked down at her paws. “It’s not him I have feeling for,” she sighed, saying nothing more.

Kassie " well, whoever it is, they would tell you likewise" she  finished up eating and went into the den and took a short nap with Z who was already fast asleep. Kassie did have feelings for both Adelite and Z, but how was she going to tell them both. She had to think it over.
