Adelite scoffed as the male ran back towards camp. While she waited, she heard a twig snap. 

Kodi’s yellow eyes gleamed as he walked out from between the trees. “Hello badger,” he smiled.

Adelite slowly got to her feet, snarling. “What do you want? Go away.” 

“Relax, just wanted to say hi. I can’t stay long,” he said, ear twitching as he heard the pack in the distance. “But I wanted to remind you that I’ll be back. Bye,” he said sprinting into the trees.

Adelite stared bewildered at the place he disappeared. The wolves were almost here. She decided she wouldn’t say anything to Kassie. No need to worry her.

Kassie and the others came through the clearing. Kassie  noticed that Adelite was very tense " Whats wrong, dear?" she asked as  they slowly brought the ram carcass back to camp

“Oh nothing,” she replied absentmindedly. “I’m just really tired after catching up to the catch and taking it down.”

Adelite sat down next to her. “Yea, it’s him.” She paused for a long time, taking small bites of her prey but not eating much. “He was out there.”

Kassie snarled ' I knew it.. hes trying to get back here in my pack.. he'll he wont have that chance." she  moved away from her food and sniffed the air " I will find him and hurt him. he has no right to come here"

“Do you want me to come with you?”  She offered.

"Its best if you stay here with Z and the others, Ill deal with this idiot" kassie said nuzzling her before sniffing the ground in search of Kodi

“I-OK....” Adelite said, watching her walk away.

Kodi was stalking a rabbit in the land around the packs territory.

Kassie sniffed him out. "Kodi! " she yelled " I told you to leave my territory!" she went right up to him and  snarled " you are not welcome here"
