Adelite watched Kassie with unblinking eyes. She tried to absorb every word she said. She shifted slightly remembering Z was also watching her. She didn’t want to make a fool of herself when she was so new to the pack.

Kassie  continued " not only that, Adelite, but you will also have to learn to to defend yourself against other wolves. Like Kodi. So, I want you and Z to practice together. Pretend that Z was Kodi ."

"I will be watching.   Dont go easy on Z, Adelite, He can fight pretty good." kassie said going up top a rock and layed down watching

Adelite was slightly surprised at Kassie telling her to practice with Z. Regardless, she leaped to feet and slammed into Z hoping to catch him off guard. They tumbled in the dirt, Adelite pushing out with her feet to try and pin Z down.

Z growled playfully and  refused to get pinned down "  awe come on you can do better than that, little lady" he teased as he pounced at her and gave her a little slash on the hip

Adelite let out a yelp as her hip stung from the scratch. The shock tuned into anger as she growled and lightly bit the scruff of Z’s neck. She tried to shove his muzzle into the dirt.

Kassie continued watching " Thats my girl, Adelite"

Z snarled and winced as her teeth  went into his flesh " Alright alright.. I get your point..please stop" he said laying on his side . But as Adelite turned around, Z  pounced on her and held her " there you go, kitty"

Adelite let out a grunt as she hit the ground, frustrated. While she was down, she swatted the ground with her paw causing a cloud of dust to fly into Z's face. "Bet you didn't she that coming," she said, getting to her feet to leap at him.

Z sneezed "No.. I..didnt.. kitty"

"alright. thats enough training for one day. tomorrow we go again" kassie said standing up and going over to Adelite " nicely done at the end. Proud of you" she nuzzled her and then walked off " come on.. lets go eat'

Adelite slowy got to her paws, trying to not wince at the pain. " Good fight," she said to Z, smiling. Despite the throbbing that ached in her bones, the fight had her feeling revitalized.

kassie noticed " oh dear. he got you good eh?" she chuckled " well. come on.. the healer can help you"

Kassie walked beside her " lean on me if you want to." she said " Z.. get back to the den"

Z grumbled "  Fine"
