“Just Lust telling me what to do,” she yawned, muzzling Z.

Z nuzzled back " Do you want me to go with you to  guard you.. or will you be ok on your own?" he asked walking out of the den and into the warm sunlight

“I don’t need you to guard me, but you can come with me if you want. Come on, we have to announce you as the new beta.” She said leaping onto the leader rock.

Z nodded and followed Adelite

Kassie, Lust, Windy and the other pack wolves were busy doing their own thing.

Adelite howled to draw them to her. “As I’m sure you all know, I have taken Lust’s role of Alpha. Z will be my beta. I am pleased to be able to be your leader and I will do what I can to keep you all safe.” She looked at Z and smiled. “For now, we should send out some wolves. Lust will take 3 wolves hunting and Z and I will scout the territory line.”

All the wolves in the pack heard the howl and looked at their new leader. They were surprised to see a young wolf challenge an older female for the alpha role. But they  listened to her all the same. The three wolves that Lust chose went with List and Z  went over to Adelite and nuzzled her "  Im so proud of you honey. Now lets go scout" he said with a slight wag of his tail.

Adelite smiled and walked beside Z. "Thank you, are you ready? Who should we bring?" she asked.

Kassie then walked beside Adelite " Mind if I tag along with you two?" She looked at Z since he was the Beta now who looked at Adelite " it wouldnt hurt love. But yes, Im ready"

"Of course," she said to Kassie, dipping her head. "If some prey comes along our path we can hunt it but our main focus is making sure no other wolves come into our territory."

kassie chuckled " dont worry, Adelite. I can handle that just fine. " 

Z sighed a huff of relief as they walked beside Ad. " Lead the way my dear. "
