Z put the little bundle down on the soft ground " I dont know.. but he looked like he needed help. So I just brought him home. I.. couldnt say no darlin... look at him.."

He licked the little pup and it began to move a slight bit at his touch

Adelite stared at the pup with wide eyes. "Where was it? Was there any other wolf scents?" She got close to it and examined the pup, giving it a small lick. "Who would do this," she said sadly. "Let's take him to the healers."

Z grabbed the pup in his jaws again and walked  with Adelite to the Healers " who ever did this, will pay"

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves," she warned. "We don't know the full story. "Maybe something happened to to their parents."

Z rolled his eyes " alright alright. Maybe you should check that out when the healer sees this beauty"

they finally reach the heal and Z stopped beside Adelite, " well,  lets get some news"

Adelite watched the pup interact with the healer that paced around the den to grab herbs and bedding. After a while she turned to Z. "Let's go. Take me to where you found them."

Z sighed before looking back at Adelite "I'll be back babe"

he then walked off with the healer beside him. he followed the scent from before and fifteen minutes later he found the place where he found Broken Fractals " this was where I found him" he said  sitting down and looked at the healer "  I want to know why  a pack would do this to a pup."

The healer walked around the area, sniffing at every twig and leaf. They came back to Z. “The only thing I found were some broken branches with the very old scent of a wolf.”

Z snarled " I knew it. I knew it all along. That wolf must have just abandoned this pup. its my my job and Adelites to take care of it now. " he said looking back at the healer "  Im not letting that poor thing die with no one to care for it."

“Don’t worry, nothing will happen to the pup” they reassured. “We have you and Adelite and I. We’ll protect them. Shall we go back now?”
