Z played witht Broken Fractals for awhile that day. he even introduced him to windy and Kassie and Lust. The pup was very  nervous, but he warmed up to everyone pretty quickly after spending time with them as well. 

" Come on, lil one.. back to the den and time for a long nap" Z said lifting him up into his jaws and walked back into the warm quiet den.

Z and the pup were awake and playing together.

" come on squirt, im sure you're hungry.. time for some food" Z said standing up. Then he saw Adelite " i thought you went hunting?"

"No, just a walk" she responded absent-mindedly.  She nuzzled him and the pup and then went into her den.

" You fell asleep though. Im sure you did. But no worries, you need the rest" Z said watching her go back into the den. He led the pup out and walked with him to get fresh air. 

Adelite paced the den, troubled. She finally forced herself to sit down. She watched Z and the pup from the den.

Z practiced teaching the pup how to hunt little critters around the area " Ok, little one, but you will have to go hunting with windy one day and hunt something bigger, like.. like a rabbit. I have faith in you that you can do it."

" But.. " the pup said " I dont want to hurt animals"  he sat down at the edge of a rocky outcrop and looked up into the sky

Adelite left the den and came up to the two. “Teaching him how to hunt?”

" Of course" Z said " but  things aren't going as planned.. he doesn't want to hurt animals..." he gave a sigh and looked back at the pup " you will hunt, if I say so" he said sternly

Adelite gave the pup a soft look full of compassion. “Want me to try?” She asked Z.
