Z was sound asleep that night outside the den with the pup in his paws. Dreaming of a family he dreamed of having. While he dreamed a prophecy came to him and it said that someone in his pack was having an heir. He woke up with a start. " what was all that about?"  he said to himself as he walked off and sat looking up at the stars. 

Adelite blinked in the dark. “Z? What are you doing up?” She mumbled.

" Ill talk to you about it later. you need the rest" Z said looking back at her " Im fine"

“No, I don’t.” She said, getting to her feet. “I’m fine. What’s going on?” Adelite came over and sat down, looking up at the moon.

Z sighed. He might as well tell her what happened last night in his dream. He looked at her " I had a prophecy come to me last night saying that someone in the pack is having an heir. I dont know who its talking about, but I will find out one way or another" he tried to stay calm

Adelite’s eyes grew dark. She felt her chest drop as the security of her own secrets feel apart. “Z, it’s me. Us.” She said flatly. Her voice was void of emotion.

" What?!" Z said looking at her " Who.. when...Why?" he said confused. " When did you find out?" he asked nuzzling her gently but then stepped back yet again

“Officially, earlier today but I’ve known for a little bit I believe.” She moved away from him, slightly agitated. “But I can’t- I can’t be a mother Z. I can’t do it. I’ve only had to take care of myself and now I’m taking care of a pack and-“ she sighed and slid to the ground. “I can’t do it.”

Oh darling.. ill be the judge of that" he said walking back to her " You will be a wonderful mother.  And you can do it. I wouldnt be with you if it werent for my love for you, Ad. Dont give up on me now, ok?"
