ISO: Yarrow for making medicine (or an open wound salve)

one of my wolves has an open wound, and all i need to make the medicine is yarrow (my herbalist is currently foraging, i don't know exactly what I'll get [I'm currently living in the grasslands biome], and i currently can't trade in any herbs), but if you could provide the medicine, that would be appreciated as well. 

I have a bunch of yarrow, how many do you need?
