I also have non binary wolves and similar, plus, it would make a nice flavor text for those focused on lore (such as me and a lot of other players). This option could always be toggeable, so anyone who doesn't want to use it could choose to simply not lol. Plus, a lot of people focus themselves by the icon when searching for studs. My only question would be if the gender icons stay the same or not, since pronouns don't equal gender, but for folks with trans wolves I can see. Maybe the icon could stay, and then the pronouns could appear along side? Nonetheless, I'm in full support of it, since it could be a nice addition plus it would help with the customatization of wolves, and for the lore focused players lol

I absolutely think the cross and arrow gender symbols should stay, for clarification when setting breeding pairs! The pronoun addition would be the only change, I think

Support. Any breeding game that relies on the binary system will eventually face this topic. And if we were able to include same sex pairings and adoption features, I don't see how an optional toggle that allows you to see custom pronouns and choose your own wouldn't be any less important.

I absolutely support this feature idea! Currently, when sending my canonically trans character out on jobs, I kind of have to awkwardly disregard the default messages. It's a bit uncomfortable, being a trans person myself, but I just kinda take it in stride because, well, that's just how the game is coded, and the system has no way of knowing my character lore. Decoupling breeding sex from the pronouns the system uses to describe the wolf - even if default values are based on sex - would be reaffirming and help to weave lore a little tighter into gameplay for those that want to explore it.
